An introduction to gypsy jazz with UK accordionist and singer Jonny Kerry. Jonny talks to us about how gypsy jazz started, who to listen to and what it is.
He goes on to show us some tips, tricks and licks to help us get started with improvising within this genre.
He then finishes off with a lovely improvised solo over the well-known gypsy jazz tune, Minor Swing, where he demonstrates some of these ideas and licks.
