If you have an abortion in order to protect that child from a terrible life where you cannot take care of the child and/or there is no father or money or psychological ability to take proper care of the child, it is obviously a gift of love to that soul to save them from having to be in that life. To prevent someone from suffering is love. There is nothing to feel guilty about in that sense. That feels right to be on a very deep level. I had an abortion after a type of forced relationship, and I said sorry to that soul for having to do that, and I felt deeply the situation was forgiven somehow... But being a good mother is profoundly important to me - I would never allow a child of mine to be here without being able to take care of it in a way that all Gods children deserve to be taken care of. I cannot see how it would ever be bad karma to do from this motive. Women should NOT torture themselves with guilt for this. If you act out of love, you can never possibly be causing bad karma. The true essence of that soul is not killed, they will come back in another form - it is more important to prevent suffering of that soul surely? The real truth is, that is very much depends on the situation - these things are really not black and white. I will never feel guilty for that choice, because I feel on a very deep level that this was the right thing to do in this situation. No one should say what is right or wrong without having walked in the shoes of the person doing the abortion. People think they can judge others in this matter, but the truth is you can never truly judge without having experienced a thing for yourself - unless you are enlightened already :)
The soul already knows the destiny that's why it comes to the earth they know the mother will abort, the reason it comes is to learn something even if it is as a foetus for a couple of months. The soul works with the mother and is very aware of its outcome there is no karma
If there was no Karma then there would not be any after effects of Karma... And Hence a Criminal and a Saint would be the same. After death all would be same lost in utter darkness.... Karma on the other hand makes perfect sense..... And this Law of Karma is controlled by the Almighty.... You do good you get it,,, You de Bad and Now or later it will surely come to you.... Also God gives you Free will you can chose to do what is Just or you can chose the path of Sins... But if you are aware of the karma and its consequences you will understand that I should be doing the right thing... and this also serves the Purpose of life.... if life did not have any purpose why would people struggle and why would there be people who are benevolent, truthful, compassionate,,,,
The question itself is senseless. Concerning abortion, men who don't think the consequence after having sex should get bad karma more than women. It's always easy to say because this guru is a man. Women have been suffering for centuries because of male sexual drive. Women have to go through pregnancy, giving birth then bringing them up then having male around who could be worse than little kids! If men who can't afford anymore kids should be all sterilized! Why always women's responsibility!?
As a woman conceiving the child, she has all the rights to decide if she wants to keep the baby or no. The childs life starts from the womb as they start absorbing feelings and a mother who is not emotionally stable or is always stressed is already harming the baby before it is born and even more after it is born. Whatever decision made in clarity is good for both mother, child and everyone else. And we human being are not in the verge of extinction. If not our own flesh and blood, we can always care for orphans and other sentient beings. It should be personal choice and not decided by government, priests or anyone else.
i agree that a fetus conceived as a result of rape is a negative energy. the negative energy of the experience and the feeling of negativity being transfered to the fetus from the woman it causes unearned negative karma upon the fetus and if born that person will carry this negativity possibly for the rest of their lives. spirits can come back to reincarnate. give that rape fetus a chance to come back and be conceived in a better situation.
The father doesn't have to be the rapist. The child can still have a good, loving, non-biological father. Although I believe that people can give 'bad karma' through on the next generation (genes & dna,...), I also believe the biggest part comes from raising the child the right way. So the child does not HAVE to suffer. Just my thought. (I'm not anti- or pro-abortion)

what can a woman do to rectify having an abortion in the past...like how can she make it up..
What are the karmic effects of dropping an atom bomb???
