At some point one has to be honest and admit that the Bible is not a historical document, so using it in political discussions about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is not only unhelpful but can also be counterproductive. The conflict should be addressed through principles of international law, human rights, and mutual respect, not ancient religious narratives.
57:08 whether or not Israel has a right to exist, it exists and is much more formalized than Palestine. Israel prevents Palestine as a state to exist. Thus a null argument.
Great discussion. Almost had me nostalgic for the Bill O’reilly/MLH days. The more sane (relatively speaking) elements of the republican/democrat parties 😩😊
Marc, you touched on it with Xavier but didn’t ask directly- I think it’s worthwhile pressing pro israel guests you believe you could sway if they have any financial benefit from israel, or pro israel groups. Most people can be bought no matter the stakes. Xaviaer I would guess is. He’s uninformed and reads as an advertisement for israel. Feels like a noa tishby’s been all over it. Joe, I really wonder. He seems smart and switched on, willing to discuss things. But you never know who’s getting the check.
I was OK until Walsh turned me off with his bias and ignorance about the reality of what the Palestinians are suffering from Israel’s genocide his indifference to Palestinian suffering what is wrong with this guy!
Check his resume. It’s not that deep and if Mark (world renowned esteemed journalist, professor, etc…) had a problem with it he would have asked him to moderate his language 😊
More of this please!!! Amazing conversation thank you MLH

Excellent session, sorry to have missed it live
This was a great viewpoint. I like hearing other viewpoints without the chaos. Looking forward to the conversation about Israel.

Would be using that level of cursing words if Marc was white?

@@sistagirl15 Thank you - I do need to read up on who Joe Walsh is. I'm from UK and he is new to me.
