QOTD: If Salvador was to return in Borderlands 4 as an NPC, what kind of side mission would he give you?
I like to think a mission where you need to find someone, or a group of losers for Salvador to train to be a gunzerker like him but each time they try to dual wield they die or things go horribly for Sal's apprentice. almost like when requiting a new group of Vaughn in the Fight for Sanctuary DLC
he would make you collect two of the same parts of a gun several times to make 2 guns. But since you don't duel wield, you mash them into one gun
Arms dealer quest with Dr Zed where they try to create a four armed bandit that is the ultimate Gunzerker.
He would give an insane action packed mission that allows you do dualwield for its duration
QOTD: I feel like Sal would give you some crazy action movie style quest, where you would have to save a puppy skag from a flaming building, and end the quest with you skydiving away from an explosion. A loud, hilarious and over the top quest , perfect for Sal
Imagine getting to do real action shots where everything is real and super dangerous
Sal is stuck fighting an enemy with insane health regeneration. He needs you to find better guns for him. It will be a multi-part mission that updates periodically based on where you are in the main campaign. The punchline is, right before you go to turn in "the last gun" , he gets an unholy chain of money-shots that decimate the enemy he was trying to kill.
Then he shouts “one shot?!?”
"Vol-luda" sounds exactly like "boluda" which is femenine for "boludo" and in Argentina (where I'm from) is a slang for "big balls" that can be used either as an insult ("You're a boludo" to a guy or "boluda" to a woman) or as a friendly way to referring to someone you are familiar with ("how you doing boludo?").
It caught me by surprise and I was like WTF is joltz saying? It was really funny.

QOTD: He would give you a quest called "Zerkin' Gherkins" where you have to use a pickle launcher to kill a miniboss called "Foam Fish" in reference to Bubble Bass from Spongebob. The reward would be a gun called "Racecar" and would shoot little tires
QOTD: If Salvador returned as an NPC in Borderlands 4, he would give us a side mission where the objective is to find all the parts for something. He keeps it vague as we collect the parts, and when we bring them all to him, it turns out that he needed them to build a pair of stilts.
Also, I once tried dual-wielding the Morningstar and the Bane on Salvador. Never again.
QOTD: he'd send you after someone who messed with his abuela. Nobody messes with Sal's abuela.
Nah she would hint that person down herself and shove a shotgun in each end and pull the triggers
QOTD: Sal would try to teach the player character how to properly wield two guns at the same time. It doesn't go well.
QOTD: he would give you a quest to add some more crimes to his wanted poster and you would get a gun called the canibalizer that would have lifesteal on flesh enemies

I’ve been watching for a long time at this point. I just wanna say thanks. For whatever reason hearing and seeing you play always makes me smile no matter the playthrough. It’s like an instant refresh on my social battery. Your content never ceases to just be the best keep doing what you’re doing cause there aren’t many that do it like you

QOTD: He would send you on a quest to find his missing pistols, on this quest you would get sent to a village where you have to beat hyperion workers until a mini boss pops out using his two pistols. The reward for the quest would be a blue rarity pistol that has the unique feature of duel wielding where you pull out two of them when it is equipped and as such this weapon when rerolling the quest can come in all the different elements but can have two elements at the same time where one pistol is slag for example and the other is fire.
After all these years of watching you, this is the first story sham drop i can remember
QOTD: A funny quest would be him telling the Vault Hunter to help a Cobbler to make cowboy boots that can have guns attached to them so that he can quad wield guns. Then when you give him the Boots, it’s revealed to be over-the-knee boots for an average sized person. He’ll be mad and just rocket jump away.

A Sal side quest would have you mobbing thru enemies in a shoot out style contest where you have a special map with a long linear progression that you race to defeat all the bandits the fastest and when you beat his time you get an exclusive dual wield weapon reward (only one in the game) for double pistols
It would be awesome to have Salvador (or any returning vault hunter) as an NPC who gives out missions, and rewards, that match their respective playstyle: Salvador gives you missions based on taking everyone out in certain areas, and provides a special set of weapons that allow you to duel wield them like a gunzerker. Zero gives you missions based on stealth, and rewards such as a weapon with built in Bore; Krieg has you setting fire to many areas/enemies, and could give a new version of The Flame of the Firehawk shield; ect...
QOTD: A mission that has a reward Tediore weapon that's called Double Trouble, when you throw it splits in half and gunzerks. It even has a hidden mechanic that increases damage if you are crouching to be the same height as Sal.
QOTD:Salvador would give you a mission called "my kind of party"
In it, you and Salvador team up to crash a party hosted by an "old friend" of Sal's, giving you a miniboss at the end.
At the end, Salvador gives you a purple rarity Rocket Launcher called the "PartyLauncher"
Red text:"in the house tonight"
Shoots 6 rockets, one of each element (going off Bl3: Fire, Electricity, Corrosion, Explosion, Radiation, Cryo)
Also, going off BL3, it will have a second mode, where it is only explosive, and deals no damage

Just commented this on the 1st part of this playthrough, but I wanna say it again, I really do forget how good you are at this game just because you goof around so much, never change!
QOTD: I have a feeling Salvador would have you run around a giant map, talking to his friends and family, and they all give you a piece of a gun to build. Maybe a homage to BL1 fetch quests

Salvador would give us a long winded mission chain that is locked until the main story is beaten, it doesn't show up on the minimap but once we complete all the missions he gives us either a legendary pistol that "definitely" isn't the harold and "definitely" doesn't spawn a grog in your off hand so you can fire both and they also "100%" don't have money shot or he gives us the choice to get his action skill and 3 of his skills on top of what you have (its a post final story thing and since its so hard to find, I would want a really powerful reward after finding it and doing all the missions)
When BL4 eventually comes out, you should have your first playthrough be a coop with the other streamers
QOTD: In my brain I'm thinking of his quest being some crazy exploration with Tourge where you get taught new mechanics for the game from the two fan favourite charactors, even if it's just a rocket jumping tutorial with Tourge for basic training then Sal for more advanced teqnuices like double shots, would be fun plus that means double shot would be back after 2 game without it.

QOTD: I think it would be fitting for Sal to run a circle of slaughter, watching you murder lots of bandits while screaming in your ear sounds about right, maybe even in the end they can do a similar thing to the 3rd dlc in bl3 where you have to fight Eista for a Salvador boss

QOTD: Sal would definitely give a kill all quest just to save his buddy axton because he has tickets to Salvador's favorite gameshow.
Here's what I think a Salvador mission would be like:
Start off with something small and obscure, like collecting some drinks for a party or something. That's when stuff goes from 2 to 87 within seconds- burning down houses, destroying everything in sight, stealing a bunch of money, killing tons of people, that type of stuff. Then just finish getting the drinks and go turn it in like nothing happened.
QOTD: Sal would give a quest to slay different bosses for parts for the ultimate gun to wield. Once the player gets the needed parts, he will forge the ultimate gun and start gunzerking. The player would then see a complete line of chaos and dropped will be the gun that the player and Sal built.
“We got a legendary berserker from the loot midget, uh infinity, uh huh bwoallwgege, uh we got a railer”
I think Salvador will give you a quest to save a old Western town and when complete you get his old trusty Harold
i think salvador would send you on a quest between numerous planets across the galaxy to find the left handed guns that ellie was forced to abandon during the bl3 campaign when the ship was on fire. could give you a cool reward with a gun that has a weird glitch-like effect that salvador does a lot in bl2 gameplay, like a crit damage launcher or something
QOTD:Probably something similar to the handsome jack grandma mission but after killing some bandits outside we go in and see just piles of dead bandits and sal's grandma holding double shotguns cause she's built different
QOTD: I feel his mission would be him getting you to go on a long journey to each part of the map/planet collecting the heads of people's he's killed for a bounty but each time you find out that the person is not the one on the bounty, eventually you find the person he was trying to get the bounty of and it would turn out that he got so caught up with his previous rampages that he just forgot to kill the person he was looking for. Ofcourse I should have also mentioned that the entire time this is happening he's talking about how each fight went down and about how much fun he had.
Salvador Side Quest:
Retrieve lost left-handed guns since it was all launched out of Sanctuary 3.
Reward:
Salvador's left-handed rocket launcher.
Follow-up quest:
Break parking meters to retrieve quarters.
Reward: "Money Shot" Jakobs shotgun
Fun fact joltz said Voluda but in Spanish (most Argentina) Boluda is an insult haha i laughed so hard from it

QOTD: Sal would give a mission called shoot some stuff where you have to start by killing bandits then once that’s done, he then tells you to kill more bandits (repeated a couple times) this will be 1 mission
If Salvador returns he might give us a quest just to shoot probably a million bullets

QOTD: I think it'd be funny to call back to Borderlands 3 and have him send us to find more left-handed guns
He would give a quest for you to use a “gun” like a boomerang to eliminate an annoying enemy. Doesn’t shoot, but rather goes teething and deleting

QOTD: I can think of two side missions but I can't choose one
First one would of been finding his mother while killing the bandits that wanted him dead for killing there own. it would have the feeling of the one mission you do for jack by seeing his grandma while also dealing with the long talk like for toruge's grandma
Second one would of been doing a who can kill the most enemies with Axton and Zero

qotd: it would be cool for gearbox to acknowledge how broken sal is in bl2 and lean into it. the quest could revolve around trying to kill some boss with an impossibly large health pool and once you clear like 1% of the boss you hear money shot and the boss instantly dies
QOTD: it’d be a gun scavenging mission like from borderlands 1 except he’d make you get enough parts for 2
Salvador would give you a quest to give you the ultimate weapon, maybe like the ultimate launcher or something

I feel like he would try to teach you how to gunzerk, but anytime you try, the gun slips out of your hand, and you hear him becoming more and more disappointed in you after each failed attempt. eventually, he just tells you to stop in a really sad voice, "That is not epic"
QOTD: Sal would definitely send you on a quest to find a way to get him a third arm so he can gunzerk with three guns.

Hey Joltz, I got a question. I don't mind using melee or granates or shields for these runs. But why are unice granates and shields allowed. Doesn't that contradict most of the actual challenge?

QOTD: Sal would have a side questline to earn one of his most favorite weapons (hinting at maybe the voice actor for Sal in BL2 would choose what his favorite weapon was in the game)
You know, first shot with the morning star is just serendipitous. You're already using the most annoying sniper, and so it's only fair the game go easy on you for Face McShooty.
I think sal would tell us to retrieve his old rocket jumpers and we would have to find some badabooms😊

Does it matter for the missions that you dont do it perfect likethe morningstar mission. Do i have to do all the damage kills
QOTD: Salvador would ask you why you aren’t using two guns and teach you how to gunzerk but only for it to not have the offhanding ability as it’s been “fixed” as per some quirky dialogue.
Also you got the slag badaboom drop, was the prefix for it Snyper? Does that make it run legal? 🤔

I encountered a glitch today for the first time in my decade of playing bl2, was fighting a BA shock skag when i got downed to its shock DOT. When i got a second wind i continued to take DOT until i died. After respawning i was taking an infinite invisible DOT from nowhere. Not sure how it happened.

QOTD: I would want the mission to play off his Echo log from the Craw headhunter, and rescue his Abuela.
Feel like it'd be a great chance to introduce a newly voiced character that could be pretty funny while also being a classic borderlands mission.
