M Lamb I had Philo for a while I wanted news channels so I switch to Sling TV. They have a package bundle for $10.00 you can get four channel packs. News, Lifestyle, Comedy, Kids. I pay $38.98 with tax included. I might add STARZ.

If you're going to get these Services why in the hell would you ever leave cable cuz the prices are about the same you get less channels it ain't very good you might as well go with it IPTV service if you're going to go online because the only place you're going to get many channels for a good price 40 $50 for 30-40 channels it's ridiculous and he don't really get the channels you want so far as swing and all I'm Services PlayStation Vue I've had them their big rip off DirecTV $75 for

FuboTV seems like the best option for Android TV after playing around with alot of them. Hulu and direct tv now apps don't support live TV... FuboTV has all the channels I want and good sports, nice guide easy to navigate, 30hrs free dvr and can stream on 2 devices at once.

  • @ItsBlackjack115

RUclips TV + Philo base package: $56
You basically pay almost the same price as PlayStation Vue's $55 Elite plan, but you get even more channels than Vue (including those from stubborn Viacom) when combining Philo with RUclips TV, streaming reliability backed by RUclips's video technology, and 8 more months of DVR viewing from YT TV than PS Vue. Only downsides is that there are no PS4 apps and that it takes getting used to working with two apps rather than one, but if you have a Roku then you don't have to alternate devices.

I just prepaid for 3 months of Direct TV Now cost 115 dollars (after taxes and fee's) for 3 months but I got a free Apple TV 4K, I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do... It's still cable like TV but it has a decent selection of on demand stuff and I hear eventually they are going to have a DVR type function so I may keep it. Now if only I liked the Apple TV box as much as the TV service.... I was able to sideload a working Direct TV Now apk on my Shield TV Pro and it's soooo much better... I wish they where offering that instead of the Apple machine.

I've cut the cord for about 1 year , used DirecTV now most of that time , I'm trying hulu live and I love that Alexa voice remote on the fire stick works for this app . Not sure why no 1 ever says that in these videos . You can ask Alexa to find your show on Hulu and she pulls it up that's badass pretty sure you can't do that yet with any of the other providers.
I've tried PlayStation vue, there guide is the worst of them all . Also with hulu I don't have as much buffering as I did with DirecTV now. But I will say DirecTV now has the best user-friendly guide, main reason I want to try another service is DVR and price .
Also DirecTV now you can't rewind live TV . There's a lot of user tips that get left out in these videos . Hulu you and fast forward and Rewind live TV except commercials , as a user there need to be a video made of these services and show basic user friendly tips of what you can and can't do with each , all these comparison videos are waste of time cuz you're not actually showing the audience what each one really has to offer

I'm on 3rd day of 7 Free Trial of Hulu Live TV, using my Roku 4200x. I didn't like the Hulu interface at first but getting used to how to use it and it's not too bad now. I am going to try DirectTVNow 7 days free trial this week to compare. I'm pretty pleased with all the channels I get on Hulu Live, like Golf Channel. I'm about to cut cable cord at 220 channels. I think I can live with the channels Hulu LIve offers, esp the live, local news channels I watch daily.

I like this video it covered a lot of questions I had, switching ISP's soon and cancelling my cable companies streaming service... (Spectrum) I was told it wouldn't change my cable bill and that it was one price, they neglected to tell me all the fee's and taxes... The final straw was the changing of my Internet bill... I asked multiple times if it would change my bill and they swore up and down it would not... So switching to FIOS (pray for me...) and Direct TV Now. I hope I have a better experience with these two companies. The combination seems like it will put me back at near what I was paying before for just Internet so that will be nice. At least if I spread things out to two companies they can't mess with my bill trying to hide fee's and make one part look cheaper than it is...lol

Here is a trick for someone that doesn't want a high cable bill. Threaten them to shut it down... Don't complain to customer service. Cable company have a special department that handles disconnections. They are the last line of defense to keep you on and they offer GREAT Deals then. Try it. You will probably lower your bill and probably get offered better services.. The reason for this is that cable in your home is there whether you pay for it or not. They would rather get something then nothing for it. So they will offer a deal you probably will not refuse. Have a merry christmas and happy new year.

Tried it with Xfinity (comcast) on phone. Told them I wanted a lesser cable package, they said they had nothing lesser. I get friggin 220 channels, REALLY? nothing less? I told them well I can't afford cable, I'm taking all the equipment back in tomorrow. They said, sorry to hear that, thanks for being a Xfinity customer all these years ,*uckers. I told them I needed to keep internet with them for my devices. They said well, that will save you some money alone. You really can't beat them. Now with streaming, all these companies just selling data plans alone, they know you need them still.
