Hey Joe! Another awesome video! My dad and I were wondering what pound mono you use? We’re debating making the switch from braid to mono but wasn’t sure what pound line to get, thanks!
Thanks Cody, congrats on that pig you caught the other day!! I typically run 40lb Slimeline mono from Catch The Fever. And 80lb leader line for extra abrasion resistance when fishing nasty structure. It's definitely worth switching to mono in my opinion. Thanks for watching
Finding your channel inspired me to order a BCF! Just ordered a white mh cork handle, can't wait! Hoping to hit the Ohio next weekend down near the mouth of the Beaver River, hopefully can put that rod in some action. Heading to the Allegheny tomorrow. The Flatheads seem to be pretty active right now so hoping to pull the 1st one of the year up over the gunnel tomorrow! Great content guys!
Freaking awesome man. You’re on fire Joe
Thanks brother!

So easy to smash the like button and I'm only halfway through the video.

Great video. I’ve never seen a hookset where the Flathead was running at the boat like that! That is crazy and might have to try that!
Thanks brother.

That's awesome! You're gonna love the BCF... Good luck on the river and thanks for watching
Are you guys at flood stage too?
No, our river went up around 20' but dropped back down to a little above normal pool within a week
Them big cat fever rods are really good rods. What power rods are you fishing with?
I love them. Been using them for 5 years. I prefer the medium-heavy action for flatheads and the heavy action on tidal rivers when chasing blues
