Jani Kärkkäinen yeah, some kind of glue is the easiest way. Gorilla glue, hot glue, etc. you can also do it by making an interlocking pattern and then you just pop the pieces together like putting together a puzzle. I’ve done it both those ways. I really enjoy watching your creative process. It has always been hard for me to bring my thoughts onto paper, which is why I always give up early. But I still want to learn how to draw.
This just seems like expensive bead art. Just get some beads, wax paper, and an iron, Jazza.
Can you do bead art in multiple layers to make it voxel-art?
Jani Kärkkäinen yes.
@@Itwascute_fuck Interesting! How does one go about doing that? One layer at a time, and superglue the layers together? (I mean, I can't think of a way to get two Perler bead layers together with the traditional ironing method)
Jani Kärkkäinen yeah, some kind of glue is the easiest way. Gorilla glue, hot glue, etc. you can also do it by making an interlocking pattern and then you just pop the pieces together like putting together a puzzle. I’ve done it both those ways. I know people experiment with using the oven. But I haven’t tried it that way, and I feel like it would be pretty difficult to accomplish consistently with that method.
Imagine making a whole kingdom with these...that would be sooo cool!!(But that would take way too long)
And money lol
That looks like a really neat concept, but the product seems rather bad
Legos exist tho.
Yeah I'm getting the overpriced apple vibe from those
I bet that's what the execs said when they discontinued it XD
I used to love it lol, I guess I had a lot of free time back then
I used to have them, but I honestly don’t remember if they were good
i love how these turned out! might have to get myself into this tiny hobby
Jazza: Makes a Castle out of 3D Pixels
Also he: Draws a 2D garden
"Wait that's illegal"
I wanted you to make a full 3D world.
Not enough material to do so, sadly
@@AkumaDayo imagine if he did have all the material to do so, that would be epic
@@GothicCorvid really awesome, but also waaaaayyyy too expensive
@@AkumaDayo yeah, super pricey for just one small tiny project. Aqua beads are cheaper than it i think lmao, or the ones you iron, my store has super good prices of those for tons and tons though unfortunately those arent 3D
@@GothicCorvid or he could just make it out of Legos haha, there's like an overabundance in those things
JAZZA: 3D pixel art.
Me an intellectual: i think the word you are looking for is voxel art .
Omg I remember Mr. Doob made one of those things
“If Ready Player One and Sword Art Online had a baby” that’s a brutal criticism
I doubt that conception was consensual tbh.
@@zzdesolatezz in the context of Sword Art Online, consensual is merely a concept. Just like the characters. it is not yet developed in that universe.
@@sarowie damn... 😬
Read this comment as he said it
It’s just like that craze Beados or something (in Australia), but they were circular and only 2D. They also got recalled cause people were swallowing them and they had some sort of poison on them. It was a big thing at the time.
I remember our mum got us some after the announcement but she was like ‘just wash your hands after playing with them’. We did have fun with it so it was all chill.
