I just remembered seeing a star like thing moving hovering on the screen with a shiny blue man more than 25 years ago, finally I found the program.
The switch from sports car to flying car was pretty sweet I have to admit
I love this show. Just found it on youtube. AFN never showed it that I can remember from my childhood.

Reckon this show inspired the holodecks and EMHs in Star Trek?
Other way around. Star trek came out in the 60's, this show was 20 years past that.. The holodeck's first appearance was in the animated series from the 70's. It was mentioned in their books as well.
