If you plan to get pregnant with your partner, I don’t get why women are so surprised that a 1 week old baby cries and wants to be with you at all times.. I mean what did you expect?! You didn’t read anything? Nowadays you can find so much information online, ask your midwife… but thanks for the video! Always very interesting:)

I don’t know if people are necessarily surprised by that 🤔 there’s A TON of info out there now you’re right. Sometimes I wonder if there’s just too much info!! We’re in the weeds sometimes!!

I'm almost 33 weeks along and first read about the period-thing yesterday. So glad I heard about this and the brick-stains now before my baby-girl is born because otherwise I'd probably panic and think she was dying if I was seeing these things. It's crazy how you don't really hear about these things unless they either happen to you or you just randomly happen to come across them. It should be talked about more often, I think.

The brick stains happened to my first child when he was 3 days old and it was so scary. I had been trying hard to breastfeed and he got dehydrated. That was when I learned that fed is best and I supplemented with formula. The milk eventually started to work but it was a journey! Also, based on timing, I’m guessing you’re snuggling a very new baby right now. Congratulations!!!

I see a lot about breast feeding in your videos. As a new mama due later this year, i am interested in forulma feeding. Can you make a video on Formula feeding and which formula you suggest most??
    Love your content ^.^

She has lots of awesome shorts about bottles and which ones are her favorites. Since my first baby was a half formula half breastmilk baby, I can tell you that every baby is different when it comes to which formula works well for them. My son could only use the Similac brand in their sensitive formula. But we tried a whole bunch of different kinds until we found a winner! I think if you submit your address to the major companies, they will send you samples of their formulas that will last a week or so; you could get an idea of what is best for your baby that way!

My daughters nipple stayed swollen for a long time. Her doctor at the time had me completely freaked. She was tiny and grew slower than my other baby, and really took a long time to go up in sizes. She wore newborn clothing for about 6 months.

I had no idea about the brick stains. Both my babies werw breastfed and I guess I was doin something right cuz they didn't have that. Also, my daughter surprised the nurses by being completely transitioned to yellow, seedy breastfed baby poops by the end of day 2 beginning of day 3(went home day 3). No meconium in sight. You should cover how breastfed baby poop often times smells like popcorn lol.
