Taste of Shetland food heritage film: dairy

Pearl Young is one of the few Shetlanders who still makes dairy products using milk from her own kye. In this short film, Pearl calves a Shetland cow then bakes beest from her colostrum. Butter, blaand and kirn milk brunnies are also produced by Pearl in her cosy croft house kitchen.

Wow!! Tell Pearl my wife says she looks beautiful. And she would like to visit her cows. If and when we could ever visit Shetland.
