Today, I met former MLB Pitcher Jim Wright! He was a phenomenal person! I asked him some questions while he signed my cards!
He told me that he had great success against Rod Carew. He also said he always found himself ahead in the count against him. He also had a lot of respect for Rod as he talked about his great hitting abilities.
Mr. Wright also talked about how he enjoyed playing at Fenway. He also mentioned the longtime rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. He said that he didn't really care for Yankees stadium. He told me he always pitched better at home!
