- Mazzei Formula and Defined Autoworks 4 Rotor RX7s meet in Birmingham Alabama, cruise to cars and coffee, and head over to Barber Motorsports Park. Bryan Longshot Leonard, professional IMSA driver, test drives both cars. David Mazzei rides passenger in the defined autoworks car.

Just from the way you felt after the ride along is why I got into road racing.
same, did one autocross event in my daily and immediately bought a car to start building a dedicated track car with right after. I grew up racing motocross & this is the only thing that has come close to the adrenaline.
I aint gonna lie, Im not a Rotary fan, but you and Ryan are truly inspirational and your builds are absolutely amazing. It shows what Rotary's CAN be and how amazing a power plant they are when done right. I really do believe your car is one of the best sounding street cars out there. And that F1-style air-shifting sequential is just insane.. Keep living your dream bud!

Defined auto works is about 2 miles from my house. These guys are really cool and have literallymlet me come into the shop and just talk and look in awe

the rotary has the best sound on the whole track like this is why we love it, it's pure emotion, the mechanical and metal sound of the brap, the extreme high pitch sound

Logan's 4 rotor is meant to be street driven and can be driven to the track from what i heard he just need a 91 octane fuel and the engine is all stock compared to david's

I honestly been a rotary love since 86. I had 3 !2a back in those days, bit I first heard a 4rotor at a racetrack in Orlando to which I live. I heard that shot- fell in love immediately. Then years after heard about the sexy 989. Those engines was a woman, I'll marry it.
For whatever reason (only the owner would know) it seems he was short shifting because the engine just sounded like he could have revved it a little more imho, but a beautiful yet angry machine full props to u sir! Would have loved to be in David's position as a passenger wow and thanks heaps 4 the upload hope u reach ur intended target plus alot more

Logan's car is really amazing! Though that front bumper seems out of place with that wide body. I think the Gran Turismo RX7 LM prototype car has a really good looking front end, would be sweet on Logan's RX7.
That's what I really want, my skill set isn't up to the task of full custom front bumper. But I might reach out to some companies for help making it.

I'm loving it ,the only one thing I personally think is not perfect is the color is blended too much with blk and numbers and it makes it too busy it's not "clean "looking if u know what I mean, but otherwise is absolutely ridiculously amazing!!and ofcourse Mazzei is just as awesome and noises omg!!🤪👍
