- A lot of people asked me to go skate in the city named Lapu Lapu . Around 30 minutes drive from Cebu central . With a big deception to see how bad skatepark there is maintained. We went to skate in the street instead bit with no luck with kick-out and been treated like criminal . They told us they have a skatepark . The skatepark in mu opinion is almost unskatable . I would like for those guys to have a great place to skate , why the government and municipalities don't invest in those infrastructure loved by so many . The skater there are good people and really good a skateboarding. We still had a great day exploring the island . Skateboarding in the Philippines is growing and i can't wait to see what those guys will bring in the future

This was my experience as well man. I was just in the philippines in July, manila specifically. I was so sad to see that there barely any places to skate and would get kicked out of some spots for merely riding flat. hoping this changes in the future

I'm almost 50 but shit I subbed! I used to hang out with trashers back in the late 80's & early 90's in QC. Damn there were crews of skaters and bmxers back then. Anyway, maybe not having a proper skate park makes these kids more resilient. Resilience is one of our Pinoy atttibutes.

Just to let you know, PH has most of the western youth sub cultures (skating, bmx, breakdancing, rock bands, graffiti, rapping, djing & more) goin on way ahead some of the asian countries. The problem was there were a lot of violence & crime involved in these lifestyles.

i love your videos bro. try visit baler skatepark in baler, aurora bro. it is a fresh new open skatepark in baler unlike in lapu-lapu, manila, and other city in the philippines, the skate community in there is supported by local officials.

On Motic's insta they always skate random roads tightly packed with kids and skate obstacles and it never looked like anyone said a bad word about it. More like skating was a welcome and admired novelty.
Well those places are more allowed as they consider it as a skatepark. I mean getting kickout street skating is nothing new but in cebu they really don’t like it
You must come to El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental dude in Mindanao we have a spot here and the surface is smooth too.

bro, check out also Bulacan area especially San Jose del Monte Francisco Homes Subd. Brgy. Narra. they have a good spot there, called “Old Market Skate Spot”. a lot of skater playing on that spot. thanks and godspeed.

Sad reality here in the Philippines. Government are more focus in creating basketball courts instead of skateparks. Hope the focus will change now since there are a lot of skaters today that needs a skatepark.

cebu skater is very lucky to have a skatepark hope they maintain and take good care of it. coz not all cities in the philippines have a designated skatepark like here in Bulacan we dont have any descent skate playgrounds
1:35 I've never thought this what we called in Malaysia a "Ketupat" did exist in PH too. It's kind of rare here in Malaysia for street stall selling it using the traditional way i.e. coconut leaf, most of them using the plastic wrap because of cheaper and quicker. 😂

The park holds sentimental value for Trunks and his development. Perhaps organizing a community cleanup could help restore it to its former state and create a positive environment for others too.
I used to skate with him way back 2015-2016. He was just a professional little kid back then.

Video around 7:39, I wonder why they Didn't try to clean the place. The local government built the park for the skaters in Lapu-Lapu City. It's been around like that for a long time. They should be responsible for maintaining the skatepark clean and usable for them. So sad they just ignored that area of the skatepark.
I know but i think the drain was clogged. So the skater cannot really do much about it . If they clean and it rain again it will all be for nothing
@@Theskatenomad It looks like the area is neglected. From the looks of it, there are so many trash. Why not they just have it cleaned once in a while. They should arrange a clean up drive for the place,. After all, everyone can benefit from it.

Seriously that is such a good park if they just did some maintenance. I make/made many spots and with that sort of pre-made costly infrastructure already done .. DREAM LAND STUFF. Clean it, fix cracks at Philipine prices that's more effort than cost. Once the junk cleared use steel cable to unblock the drain and a couple liters of drain cleaner or solvent/corrosives or fuel .. hell just VERY salty water is FREE and will do the job in a year .. just keep adding salt.
If you have a source of nickel add that and do it in half the time.

These people always say kids should stay away from drugs but when people find a hobby and passion they shit on them. They should build better skate parks if they want people to stop skating in the streets
