I would say it's probably the men who have children.
Advice from a 23 (soon to be 24) year old that may ruffle some feathers:
1.) Purpose is fucking overrated: Build yourself up, take the time to learn about money, learn a skill, and add some utility/value to the world. If you mess up, own it. So many of my "what is my purpose" existential bouts started because I made some stupid mistake and couldn't fully own it. Wade through your mistakes like water, and soon you'll navigate the pool like a pro, because you allowed yourself to weather the failures.
2.) Exercise matters, but make sure you're doing the right exercise: Doing tons of reps will make you strong, but it won't make your mind strong. Pick up a sport and make both your body and mind strong (it will also help you network and make friends).
3.) Do the dishes every night, make your bed every morning: End the day with a win, start your morning with a win. Momentum is the most powerful thing in the world, and keeping a little will actively make your life better.
4.) "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise." - Ben Franklin: Pick a bed time, no later than 10 PM, and stick to it. Discipline is the most important skill in your arsenal, and you grew up in an era where it's actively programmed out of you. If you can't get to bed on time, what else are you failing to do?
5.) Expanding on Point 1: Money is magical, and all our systems to build it are also fucking magical. Use them. You have so much free time if you're below 25(ish)... get a part time job AND start a business. If you work hard, stay disciplined, learn how money (and monetary systems) work(s), and don't spend your money on useless trivialities... you will very likely be a millionaire before you turn 30. Genuinely.
Does it suck that you aren't out partying with friends? A little.
Does it suck that you're burning a lot of your late teens/early-mid twenties for the sole purpose of making money? Yeah.
Does it feel fucking awesome to have "fuck you money"? Absofuckinglutely.
Does it feel good to come back home and make everyone else envious of who you've become? Yes.

I just turned 18 in August, but I’ve felt ashamed of myself because some friends and family keep making fun of me for being 18, still not in college, and working a part-time job without a driver’s license or car. My dad has been a single parent since my mom passed away when I was 13, and I’ve been depressed and hating myself ever since, thinking I was a waste of space. I do work out and stay athletic, but hearing those things from family and friends really messed with my self-esteem. I applied for college and have an appointment for a tour, and I’m hopeful I’ll get in. I’ll keep you all updated on my progress. I’m sorry for boring you with my whole backstory, but I’ve been holding these feelings in for years and felt like this was the only place I could share them. Thanks again!

The age where you can provide mutual value to a partner. Most young people (both men and women) aren't looking for anything long-term; you'll gain very little value from them, and you'll give very little value to them. It's just not in your mindset to think long term... yet.
I would like a relationship, but my business and personal shit comes first (I am also admittedly on the tail end of this video's age range, because I will be 24 in a month. On top of that, I am also not straight, sooo...).
Make sure you're personally stable and providing utility/value to the world, then turn towards providing utility/value to a relationship; don't get involved in one until you're good and ready to give it a good portion of yourself. Also, don't get into a rush... finding someone to build a relationship with is a long term commitment; it will take a long time, and that's okay.
As early as you can, there is a false belief that you should find love after you're this or that but remember You're only teenage once where you are the most prime you can be
