The secret is, I always try to edit the videos as we go (during curing wait time and such) so I knew we were about 10 minutes in 😉🤫

These vids are also perfect for when you’re sick and bored, because the videos don’t have enough movement to make your head hurt but enough things going on where you can still have your full attention on it. The last “resin time” was so chaotic and it was perfect!
I think it would be cool to digitally design your embeds and print them with a resin 3d printer or something that will give a good level of detail on such a small scale, and then paint and use those :)

That would be cool but wouldn't it be ruined too fast/easily since they work there? It would get stained and dirty. Maybe it would be better to do it in a room they don't use too often or that they use for less messy stuff.
@@NosebleeddeGroselha Probably but I am sure it's easier to clean than concrete as the mess would not seep in it and should be just surface grime that probably doesn't stick as it does on concrete :) but this is actually a thing, there are special resin for floor covering so it's not a completely crazy idea either, just a very expensive one

I really wanted a metal version of resin time
The chaos resin time chant was filled with so much genuine emotion. The frustration is real.
For future projects, if you want to use that first mild stuff, try wrapping it around the sides instead of going from the top. I've made quite a few with that stuff and wrapping usually works a lot better 🙂
The title of this video is “watch us as we slowly lose all sanity while working on the smallest project we’ve ever made”

I need Katelyn's aggressive version of "Resin Time" as a shirt of a metal band, ASAP.
Idea: Rather than having an entire solar system in one key, make one key a sun and then form a solar system with other keys around it extending out from the center of the keyboard.
You just made me want custom keycaps for the first time. You could center and try for a circle, but ASDFGHJKL is just the right number to line em up.
Like the number keys at the top so they can be in a row!
I'd rather put them in pseudo random positions. Sun best the center, planets spacing possibly influenced by our actual solar system.
But I couldn't hope to resist including some spaceship or spacestation, probably from the star trek universe. Realism be damned...

Very fun to watch and such GREAT results! 👍😊 I'm usually a silent watcher, but I'd like to make a suggestion (even though I'm a year late!): instead of using the heavy steel ball bearings, you might find it easier to use those firm foam balls used in slime? They come in small, but various sizes (like, 2-6 mm usually) and might be ideal for planets? They're cheap, readily available just about anywhere.

15:38 The best thing you can do for baking small pieces of sculpey clay is get a toaster oven! It's quicker than using a kitchen oven, and you can stick it outside so it doesn't smell weird!
For smaller pieces, I've found the best way to cook them is to turn up the heat on the onset for a few minutes (I can't say how much because I've learned to do it intuitively), then turn down the temperature to the advised baking temperature - especially if you're doing anything with thin/small pieces, like spikes, claws, or hair. Cooking it with slightly more heat at the beginning seems to prevent the thin pieces from wilting/moving at the beginning.

Model-maker's tip: The key to not getting surface bubbles on molds is to paint your object with the silicone before you submerge it. You can also prevent surface bubbles on your resin projects by painting your mold and embeds with resin before pouring.
I love how they always have a good attitude even though when they almost fail they find a way to fix it!!😀
