Besides the fact that this is similar to the backstory of the Head, Arbiters, Eyes and Claws, it is probably a security dilemma. Technically, it is impossible to be safe anywhere, as well as to reach the nearest limit, from which the desire to try will be eternal (which is similar to the essence of philosophy - eternal attempts to achieve the impossible). You can't bring everything to perfection, even if you really want it. This care, and then dependence, will lead to the loss of both your own personality and someone else's losses. i think this one fits the general tone of lobotomy corporation more than "too many trumpets" suspenseful. a beast waiting in the dark, it knows where you are. only by it's mercy are you alive, and yet you must kill it. horrifying. you know that sound. you know what happens to those judged by the scale of this god. paranoid, you try to find your way to the next goal, and yet you find yourself back at the beast's massive jaws. the twilight is long... yet many make it through.
This really sounds like something from Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. Fitting, since that game is also about a giant undergound laboratory full of abnormalities.
