I am sure that this anomaly was not so much a reference, but rather an embodiment of the super-cruelty of the Wings. So many innocent people die and/or suffer for the sake of... In general, definitely not for their own sake. I think they are happy to be something big and separate from someone else's power. Their strength will remain in their numbers, frighteningly large numbers.
i've always wondered why it is called the mountain of smiling bodies. it never grins, never grimaces, the pale faces never smile. perhaps it knows a joke that we do not. perhaps it's not the faces or mouths that are smiling. both one of the weakest and strongest alephs known, the mountain of smiling bodies must never be allowed to indulge in flesh. who knows how much devastation it could cause if let loose outside the facility? perhaps it could even destroy the world? let us hope that the deterrence never weakens enough for this beast to grow more than 3 heads. it might even be one of the few abnormalities that could start a 7th trumpet event by itself.

When I read about reciprocating the bad turning out good for others, or others being good at getting positive reciprocation, it stinks. Itd be cool if those rules applied to me too. Of having good humans to reciprocate to, of self defense not leading to more problems.
