July 2017 MLB Walkoffs called by opposing/losing broadcasters

  • Here's that silly/serious video I was talking about. To address the first question - no, I won't make a video like this for August most likely, this took a lot more time to make than I thought it would. However, you can expect to see the losing team's broadcast be used in some future videos. You can put it on the board. Also, a few of these clips have the radio broadcast - the two games that were only on national TV (Dodgers vs Giants and Dodgers vs Royals) and then for one game the TV broadcast audio was not working. Please forgive me

      As a cardinals fan myself, I have to say the only explanation is that Rosenthal has a rare mental disability, so well just have to leave it at that.

    That's why Kuip, is the best. No blatant bias, he just called it as the game played out and that situation called for excitement even if my team is gonna lose

      Sorry, which one is Kuip?

    • @blackyoshi1230

      MatrixDragonmark - Duane Kuiper, SF Giants announcer. See the first few examples with that team. (The Padres game winner is announced by Jon Miller, who normally does the radio side unless the game is on rabbit ears TV.)

    I was at the Walk Walk Walk Walk Walk Off game (four walks in a row to start the bottom of the tenth by the Royals vs. the Dodgers at 0:56). Weirdest thing I've ever seen in a baseball game in person.

    In most cases, you clearly hear the disappointment to disdain in the voices of the losing commentators. It is not easy being objective when the team you are calling for loses in that manner.

    You can tell who are good commentators and not biased

    • @corn6723
      @corn6723 7 лет назад +1

      I don't know. If you're commentating for a team that you watch and cheer for you should be able to want your team to win.
      It's not like the Dodgers fans will be watching the Giants broadcast.
      I feel like it adds more charm to an announcer
      Now if it's an announcer like Joe Buck that broadcasts for both teams, then no, they shouldn't be biased
