That Chiminea is GREAT! I picked one up last month. We put it on a large covered porch, with over 9 ft ceiling at peak. Made sure to put it on a granite remnant to protect the floor. Made sure to have rear clearance of 3 ft. I LOVE IT. Radiant heat, you can snuggle up to it and it looks great. I had thought about the Patio Heater, but was concerned about the height. This lil dude is not tall and therefore the heat, which rises to the cap too, adds to the warmth... just perfect. Easy operation and $100 CHEAPER than the patio heater. Now I want them to make a smaller version of this to take camping.
I have seen the tall one at Tractor Supply and was not impressed with the flimsy thickness of the metal. Is the short one of the same guage? Maybe it wasn't screwed together well (but it seemed mighty flimsy).
I think it wasn’t bolted down tightly enough. I have heard no complaints in build quality. The one I saw in person was also really solid. The little one is definitely a tank. I’m just super disappointed with heat output
Ordered a Chimnea and put it together yesterday. After I was finished I noticed one of the legs was not welded correctly. I had to return it to TSC. Too bad the quality is not as good as my Timber Stove.
It gets better. TSC actually offered it to me for $150.00. I picked it up and noticed one of the glass panels was defective. I returned it again. Complete P.O.S.@@tfletchera87
I’d get the short one for sure. Not a lot of heat off of either units but the only reason I would choose the taller one is if I need to move it around a lot.
It’s still very much a thing. I have a new engine from zzp ready to install. It’s at a buddy’s shop. We plan to strip it down and re-powder coat everything. Don’t give up on me yet George. Things will be popping again in a few months. My buddy also built an Ariel Atom from the original plans using a K series motor. I’ll be doing videos of it soon as well.
lol no. I’m not sure why you even thought that? Was I not loud enough? I certainly was going to yell like I would outside. Elaborate and I’ll do better next time I guess

I like mine a lot and have thought about moving it under our ceiling on the porch to see if it help with heat
Can I use that short one to put under my deck area? My desk to the first joist is like 78 inches.
I think you could definitely do that.

That’s a pretty large price difference for comparison lol but hey I’m glad you found one you’re happy with.

We're you from
Where not we’re. I’m from TN.
Please don't waste your money I regret it! The wife and I have to sit inches from it for warmth and it's a pellet hog terrible efficiency
@@victorforte1605 mine is rusting out also and I keep it covered with a grill cover. Produces no heat

Are you scared while your filming?
Just film that sh*t and talk and ignore everyone around you. No one in the store cares if you're filming.
