Good on you dude! I can’t wait to see it complete. most of all, I hope it plays as good it looks. I’m always amazed at the creativity, patience and tenacity of the participants of this challenge.
The guitar is coming along pretty well so far. I to like this head stock design better than a lot I have seen on the flying V type design. Most look way too big and out of proportion to the neck and the rest of the guitar. This one you are building is looking clean and well designed. Keep it up and it will turn out to be a guitar you can be proud of and one your brother will like and enjoy for a long time.
Nice work on the carve and fitment Jackson. Just the right amount of squeak as it is pushed into place. What is the final string height going to be over the center of the body between the pickups? I know my BRS is pretty close and it almost makes the neck pickup sit below the body level.. there is a fine line in that area where that makes a difference. Not sure if you have experienced that yet but something to ponder.
Looking sharp, brother!
Thanks!
Love how it's coming out mate, and I think Mrs Unit should win a spot prize for hardest working camera person 😀
She really is. I couldn't do this nearly as efficiently without her.

Hm.m, I honestly am not sure. I'll have to look at that.
I love this guitar so far brother and the shirt ain't bad either!! I still need to buikd a neck holding jig.✌️🤍
That thing is so nice! I really like it. I modified it a bit so I can get my caliper on it without de-clamping.
