Heya~! People here are usually free with their clothes choices, everything is fine if it's modest. You'll still see people wearing very revealing clothes but everyone is minding their own business. When it comes to the hijab, Muslim women usually wear them when they hit puberty, if a girl is younger than that and is wearing it then she's probably just curious. (Or has some strict parents lol.) While it's frowned upon, I've seen both genders hang out together, people might say otherwise but you know they're lying... It's 2019, c'mon people. Women do work here, they're very independent. Some husbands refuse to let their wives work, but it's very rare. I don't think women here care if you're covered up or not, over 85% of the people living in Qatar are foreigners... :P
Western women wearing revealing clothes do so because they have been educated to value themselves upon the attention they get from the opposite sex. In general the western culture is mainly one that sees women as commodities. Muslim women in contrast, they learn about modesty and self respect.
