- WE ARE BACK after a short break and we have a really special episode of Qtip today which we know you’ll really enjoy.
This special QTip episode features our very own Mr. Q and the famous Qatari snapchatter Abdullah Rasheed Al Enazi (@qatar111102) and takes you on the interesting journey of how to make the perfect traditional Arabic gahwa (Arabic coffee).
Watch this new and exciting step-by-step video and learn the art of making Qatar’s national beverage, complete with all the ingredients, method and tips on Qatar’s very own traditions on serving this delicious hot beverage loved by Qatari and expats alike!
About QTip: QTip, a concept developed by Mr. Q himself, is short for 'bite-sized Qatari cultural tips' and it has been making waves on RUclips for almost 5 years already-the very first episode was uploaded January 2014.

why does the first guy look like Cobra Command??
I'm sorrt but this man needs to be in every one of your videos. He is awesome!
I have to say this is one of your best clips. It's very endearing and special to see such honour towards a family tradition of coffee making. It's also highly educational - I definitely would love to see more clips in this vein, especially how to make true Qatari karak.
Thank you so much for always making the effort to teach and guide in this way. Qtips has honestly set me up for a much better understanding, love and respect for Qatari culture and it's people.
I'm happy in Qatar partially because of these lovely clips - with understanding comes contentment and enjoyment.
It truly warms the heart. 💗 Shukran!
Thank you !
You are welcome
Where is your country
And your comment warmed our hearts too 🙏

Probably the best episode so far. good job. Hopefully we will see more of Abdullah in future episodes.
While having culturally distinct identities, we Italian, Greeks, Turks, Ethiopians, and Middle Easterners have a soft spot for our coffees and the many traditions to prepare them. Lovely video, and hugs from Italy!
You really should not generalize when it comes to cultures nor should you leave out important cultures like Americans, Latinos and other europeans like French & Spanish etc.
I love Coffee, as a Barista I love recipies and different ways yo make Coffee. Greetings from Colombia. Very Nice Video!
Abdullah has a great and humorous personality. I like him
I enjoyed this very much. I am from Bosnia we have our own ritual with coffee. There is nothing better than the smell of coffee rousting!
I'm big into intercultural studies and coffee, so I love seeing the different ways that cultures and people groups prepare coffee. I know this comment is two years old, but is there any way you could share Bosnian coffee traditions/preparations? Also, I will be visiting Bosnia this summer and am very much looking forward to seeing your beautiful country!
@@zacharyreed2347 We prepare very similiar to turkish way. First roast 30 -50 grams green beans in 'šiš'(comes from arabic 'shish' - stick, google for it), very nice smell comes to neighborhoods. Roasted beans put into small hand manual grinder. Grind very fine, takes up to 20 mins. Put coffee into pot with hot water and wait couple mins to start boil. Share coffee crema with spoon equally to fildžans (cups) like in this video, and pour coffee. Serve with traditional sweets - rahat lokum and sugar cubes.
All set, grinder, pot, cups, bowl for sweets was handmade of copper.
Actually this is how my grandmother used to do it. Now we buy already roasted and grinded coffee. We comsume coffee more than any Balkan country.
@@amarzemanic thank you so much! This is really interesting! I'm very excited to visit your country in a few months!
Qtips is back. I love gahwa, I've had once in Kuwait in the early 2000s while visiting MTC office for a mobile connection and it's absolutely amazing.

This was very informative and fun to watch! I have been reading a book written about the area around the time of the end of the Ottoman Empire and coffee was talked about a lot. I really like coffee and started to try and make coffee like it should be done, and this helps a lot! I hope someday to find someone to make it correctly as I'm not very good at it yet (I won't show you the bottom of my cup, LOL). Thanks for posting this!

Good work
I’m Salvadoran and we do coffee in our own way, as well. This video and tradition was so incredible to see and I have so much respect for it. I am tired of what typical American make coffee to be.. it is too fancy for me for such a humble bean. I like this style and appreciation for coffee, gatherings and rituals and praise for the harvest of the coffee
Thank you for this channel and helping to bust stereotypes of Arabs .. much love from India
