My buddies and I used to do this bit at various night spots just to get a laugh from the girls. Great way to break the ice, worked pretty well... Thanks, guys!
Used to do that a little bit myself. Anytime a girl would ask why I didn't have a girlfriend, I would say, " the girls just don't like me", and the ones who knew got a kick out of it. An underappreciated sketch.
“Yeah, and my hairline can’t be helping either.”, Lovitz looked like he died a little inside saying that.
Two of the finest entertainers of our time...Hanks and Lovitz.
I love how they ramp up the self-deprecation.
Written by Conan O'Brien
Didn't know, but makes perfect sense.
Is this Conan commenting?
@@johngrayatkinson1214 lol. Negative
I read his wiki too lol
SNL was Funny back then...
We quoted this in high school ALL the time!
and sometimes not on purpose lol
...."my face is too wide"....
...."my head's too big for this body"....
Hank's is hopelessly hilarious!!🤣😂
I remember this in college, and quoted this my entire my freshman year.
Hanks is the movie star but Lovitz is in a different league for this kind of humor.
"Hellooooo and goooood byyyeeee" 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Thank you Armchair Expert, great job Conan.
Story of 90 percent of guys,
The skit grows on you real fast.
Lol... Ouch!
I bet this was written by the same guy who came up with the 'making copies' character for Rob Schneider.
Rob Schneider came up with copy boy himself
I would LOVE to hear THIS Hanks character do the Bosom Buddies intro or the Forrest Gump monologues in THAT voice…
Gooooood evening........annnnnd goodnight 🤣🤣 I remember watching these skits back in the day...
When i was an outdoor salesman, this was my life.
I hear ya, Pal
@@brianew Have a good one, Buddy.
@@GalactusOG you, too
The tenth reunion of the girl watchers sketches was the funniest 😅
'We have little sense of fashion ... and we can't even lure them with money.'
Tom Hanks and Jon Lovitz = Comedy Geniuses and the Bromance!!!!!!
I remember this! Mine and my dad's favorite skit ever.
That unibrow tho
Pulling off the Anthony Davis.
I feel personally attacked
almost 33 years later STILL AWESOME !!!!
Came here from Kevin Smiths podcast ABC’s of SNL. Him and Lovitz talking about SNL. It’s great
The high school reunion is good too
Lol damn right!
This has always been one of the single best skits ever on SNL. Without a doubt in the top 5.
Fantastic sketch, written by Conan O'Brien! Marvelous rhythm; the music of their voices is perfect!
conan brought me here
took me 4 years but got here too
I'm here too but I came on my own
I saw this when it first aired. How was it on Conan?
Same
@@tanizaki Conan wrote this sketch
I came here from Dax Shepards latest podcast episode
First one I ever listened to.
Who cares? And you listen to Dax Shepard? Yikes.
@@jamesrogers2382 hahaha EXACTLY!
They should have taken tips from the "two wild and crazy guys" Steve Martin and Dan Akroyd. Then they would have got the babes. Lol
And their "big, American breasts!"
Who the fuck came up with this skit?! Its brilliant
Conan O’Brien.
This is so funny please post more of the two
If you came here after the Dax Shepards podcast episode with Conan, you're a true comedy nerd.
Don's Family Vacations
how does this have only 8000 views?
my face is just tooooo wide
'Low-viewing skit with no hope of advancement!'
Blame the RUclips algorithm. Four years later, it's still averaging 8k/year. Yeesh.
Catherine O'Hara on SNL brought me here.
I see you found this sketch after Conan talked about it as well.
Nope. I was just cruising through old SNL content. Watched all the new stuff and haven't seen a lot of the old stuff. That which I had watched, was years ago, so its still like new now.
@@kari7403 You must be fun at parties.
@@radudumitrescu2914 fuk yeah, I am!
Came here after watching it when it originally aired.
The internet wasnt even invented yet, so you got a time machine?
This sketch kills me.
Jon's unibrow. 😅
SNL addressed the catcalling issue before it was a thing!
Catcalling has always been a thing...
I came here cause I seen the picture on my RUclips feed, and immediately recognized & remembered watching when I was a kid.
There are no words, OK maybe awesome!!
the two most optimistic persons
Or just incredibly realistic.
Story of my life hahaha
This is the first episode I remember watching. I was spending the night at grandparents house and watched with grandfather. Third grade, I had just turned 9 years old.
Started watching religiously in 4th grade, up until 11th grade (95-96, when Will Farrell and Jim Breuer and all those started, I really hated that cast at first)
I think they were inspired by watching me and my buddies.
Sorry Tom, you're way too nice to be a New Yorker.
the best skit ever. wtached over a hundred times!
Interesting. Did you laugh at any point?
@@stepstony3683 I didn't.
Tom nailed it
It's been a while...and it'll be a while!
I like there Cruise Ship scene
Lol.
Would have been better if it ended with Nealon acting as if he had struck out with Hanks and Lovitz.
Does Lovitz have a unibrow!!!!!!
The woman whisperers...
What is your profile picture? Its creepy weird. I love it! Super awesome.
@@kari7403 Thank you! I took the picture of a human baby skull. I photoshoped silly eyes, put a fin on the top of the head.. two legs, on the base.. and νoila!
😜good stuff👀
Sounds like Joey and Chandler
Robert smigel wrote this one
No wonder they turned to lying
Lol this is so funny especially knowing Lovitz is gay
Was this before tom hanks got into little kids?
Conan the goat
Was Lovitz unibrow makeup?
Me basically...
So my life.

Huh. It's true. SNL was funny once. Who knew?
What's the name of the other actor?
Lovitz Jon
@@gamalsaad7770 thanks

Tom Hanks..... Everybody knows the great John lovitz!!!!
Let's not forget Kevin Nealon. Underrated, always reliable.
Long...
Incels
Not really funny. As almost all old SNL sketches.
LAME no talent skit!!!
That was not even close to funny, how sad.
