Brings to mind 1980, when I was in the stands watching Miami play U of L at what was then called Fairgrounds Stadium (later called Cardinal Stadium). Miami won 24-10, though the Cards jumped off to a 10-0 lead. Interestingly, that was future Cards coach Howard Schnellenberger's first game at that stadium, coaching Miami. Two seasons later, he coached the Hurricane to the national title.
