Kendrick with the black forces = Old Testament
Lacrae with white forces = New Testament
Love this!
Right. Kendrick saying he will rain fire and brimstone on the industry and rebuild it in his image (Old Testament), Lacrae said Jesus died for our sins and we dont have to kill anyone fam (New Testament) 😂😂
Jesus and his father type shit
@@humblebeans5511 YESSSS!❤️
💯
Lecrae is Kendrick’s friend. He said they talk all the time and he gives Kendrick advice.
I see, then he should continue giving him advice some more cause boy he is coming out dark and hungry.
@@yTV-x6q 😂😂🤦🏾♀️
I think he said they used too
@@yTV-x6q I mean with people hating on other people on the internet also needs advice and stop being so dark and hungry so.....
@@ojerico6097 they still do
Kendrick is outside the party with a gasoline cannister and Lacrae is right beside him, praying with his hand on Kdot's shoulder, trying to talk him out of burning it all down. 😮😂😂😂😂
Stop the cap. He's part of the party. If you're in the industry, you're part of it.
I don't think anyone thinks he is outside of it. He would be less to unconflicted if he were. I'm not interested in judging Dot like that. He hasn't put himself on a pedestal. It's unrealistic to expect perfection from people anyway. Since he's introspective, he's struggling with it and his place in it, (that's why he only drops every few years) which frankly is relatable. No shade, but Jay-Z isn't bothered by any of this.I don't know where Kendrick will end up. Maybe he thinks he can fix things or burn them down rather than leaving because he is worried about sullying himself. If you want him out, there are usually cognitove steps people go through to get places. First you have to identify problems, sone people will then try to change their situation, then maybe leave. I'm surprised at how quickly people are to judge Dot. Lecrae is saying he needs to work on his relationship with God and then at the end talks about what Jesus would do.@handsanitizer2457
Idk Kendrick always been one foot in, never full Hollywood... His music shows this.. Drake showed you what two feet in is..
Imo it seems like since the beef onward Kendrick has explicitly been calling out what he sees is wrong with the industry.. that opinion would mean nothing if he was completely outside it, right?
@handsanitizer2457 that statement couldn't be further from the truth
Kendrick has known lecrae since before he blew up
Oh i didnt know
Someone knows history 😊
True
Kendrick blessed Lecrae saying he wishes he could have the headspace and knowledge and perspective. Lecrae deserves this and more.
Lecrea can definitely hold his own. No cussing and still got the message across.❤️
I swear Crae’s got more bars than a state penitentiary
@beautifullady4170 Both songs are good and got their point across.
@@dreameva1400 I agree. I didn't say Kendrick's song wasn't. This was about Lecrea so I didn't mention Kendrick. But Kendrick is my guy.
Lacrae the only rapper who dont curse and dont sound corny
@@EBG... that's a false statement but I give you the benefit of a doubt because you probably don't listen to CHH besides Lecrae since he well known in mainstream.
He is essentially telling Kendrick to hold his peace and let the Lord fight his battles.
That’s the best message and Kendrick is getting there hence I’m sure lecrae was probably part of why he did Mr moral

Absolutely
I'm here for a Dot and Crae album.
Album is a lil too much for someone who is in Christ and someone who is still searching….Kendrick ain’t grounded so it’ll affect the outcome of the project…. Them name drops are good for now, it’s even too soon for a single collab
@@His.wordsmithI’m sure everyone is still searching. I don’t see how minus the beef rap how dot hasn’t always tried to stay grounded
@@His.wordsmith point taken. My counter is that like Crae that has found his answer, there are a lot of us still searching for that foothold. It's relatable to be in Dots perspective trying reach that level of enlightenment. It would be amazing to see a house with the two of them in artistic form as they travel down that road bar for bar speaking on the struggles of the journey and coming to a triumph conclusion at the end..just my random first take. But this track is amazing and I think they can bring out the best of each other in a collaboration in the near or distant future.
@His.wordsmith think of it as a conversation between one who's found God and one who has still finding God.
@@KG45Brham it’ll just depend on the creativity behind it. It’s better they disciple each outside of music honestly. How many secular artist have made songs with Christians and no impact occurred I mean look at tasha cobbs and nicki Minaj and I think they were to quick to focus on the music whilst compromising her growth
"Our righteousness is like filthy rags" before the Lord, as He is completely perfect and unblemished, and we are wholly different in our fallen state. This may be the rug reference. Thanks for covering this!
Spot on
Yes that’s scripture when you know you know
💯
Kendrick invited him into the conversation.
If Kendrick asks what you would do, your assignment is to answer the man.
Great way to put it! Yes he was most definitely invited! Much love
I can't believe how awesome this turned out!
Kendrick threw an Alley-Oop!
Lecrae went into Vince Carter mode!
That last bar was so hard and the best answer to Kendricks Watch the Party Die.
His period bar is in reference to this scripture.
Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Oh wow! Ty bc I was like what’d he say??😂
Amen fam. When you look at the origins of filthy is in reference to the Hebrew word filthy which is menstrual cycle body fluids. God bless beloved!
This comment should be up front so people can get a much better translation. This is why people need the church building and not just the body, so they can be taught or edified about how most are unqualified. CHH isn't just entertainment but true hip-hop because of the information shared. (My personal definition)@@anthonygeorge7791
If you not familiar (like me), it definitely comes off weird as hell, like it otherwise.
Glad to see him back in the spot light, remember he had some bangers years ago.
@@megyskermike You'll probably hear it said this way "your self righteous good deeds are like filthy rags". Meaning if you do good to people, very helpful to others, give of your time etc. that equals a used tampon, useless, disgusting in God's sight.
I've been waiting on this reaction! Appreciate ya! Lacrae understood the assignment and I know Kdot is proud🔥🔥🔥
Crazy how I Lecrae was my first rap show a decade ago! A Kendrick mention and a verse was not what I was expecting
“Christ ain’t Watch the Party Die,

So does he mean that Kendrick should spare the rod and let these Devils do what they want?
Lecrae isn’t a “Christian rapper”… he’s just a rapper that’s a Christian. So of course his music is going to express his beliefs just like every artist. Love Crae!
Lecrae is something like 2 decades into his rap career, and put together the most succinct and grounded delivery of the gospel I've heard on a rap track, at a moment when more eyes were on him than ever. Much love and respect to this man, he's been one of my GOATs for years.
Check out his tracks Devil In Diguise, Walk With Me, Deja Vu, and Misconceptions 3 while yall are here in this moment.
I'm so glad that I've been a fan of Lecrae way before all of this. I have been following him for about 6 years because he's got some phenomenal music. There's a song called I'll find you and I think you would love it
That song hits me so hard each time I hear it. That and “Just Like You”
U a real one for covering this fam. All respect.🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hulvey, J. Monty, Jackie Hill Perry, etc
Bizzle, Datin, Eshon Burgundy
I still bump Grits fairly regularly. 🙂
This is why KDot wanted to do music with Lacrea.. He know he can spit without cussing
It's perfect for Lecrae to capitalize on this for Jesus Christ. Bring more eyes to him (our savior)
The "period blood" is a reference to Paul saying in Roman's 3:19, "Our righteousness is like filthy rags" and it's a reference to a garment used by a woman during her period. That's how disgusting man's righteousness is compared to)God's.
Lecrae out here makin me wanna read the bible again
Lecrae is Kendrick's friend and spiritual mentor. They speak all the time and he advises Kendrick with all rap and religion.
This track was my intro to Lecrae and I loved him answering the call/question.. "What would Lecrae do?"
He replied perfectly (and fast) while underscoring Dot's message and overall sentiment from his own POV.
This was fire. Definitely not clout-chasy... He took the proverbial alley opp or baton from Dot and ran w/ it.
Was waiting for stevie nights views on the song. Man after seeing his video on the break down on kendricks "sing about me I'm dying of thirst" made me realise i listened and comprehended the song incorrectly. Made me appreciate the lyricism and and ACTUAL message behind a song instead of just listening to the beat and flow. Amazing stuff🙌🙌... ought to read more !!!
Love This!
❤😊
I love seeing these two brothers holding each other & holding it down ✌🏾🙏🏾♥️💙
I am so happy people reacting to this !!!! I hope seeds get planted and people start getting smart and learning what’s TRUTH
"The cross is foolish to the perishing" 🔥

Absolutely but Wayne should B there 2, that WOULD BE EPIC
@@e.robertschwacha4564Wayne don’t even deserve that imo no congratulations or nothing Wayne can stay in the crowds I like Wayne too
@e.robertschwacha4564 Why should Wayne be there? If it's because of it being in N.O. that really shouldn't play a factor since the state of origin has only lined up with Dr. Dre's performance recently. This isn't a common theme for the halftime show.
Nah. Wayne over kendrick all day. drake got the offer but denied it.

"Christ didn't watch the party die, he died instead of it"
🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
He's referencing the Bible when he mentioned the period blood. Our best is menstrual rags compared to the Holiness of God. Basically we will never be good enough through our own works, it is by grace and faith we are saved.
The period blood is a reference to Isaiah 64:6. The word “dirty rags” used in it was literally in Hebrew the rags that were used for women’s menstrual cycles. The point is that we are so wretched compared to God’s perfection thst even our “righteous deeds” are basically like used tampons.
This is why only God could come down and get us. We can never earn our way to Him.
“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.”
Wow. 👏👏👏
I think LaCrae's 1st verse is him taking the power from those who would make simple-minded claims for him making this response.. brilliant 💯💪🏾
It can’t be clout chasing if Dot mention him directly. That opens the door for him to respond.
That's what I was thinking too
Please react to the unreleased KDOT track ABORTION MONEY
This is dope bro 🔥🔥🔥🤝🏽❤️
I was actually surprised hearing Kendrick mention Lecrae. Lecrae is my favorite “Christian who happens to rap.” But I usually get made fun of for listening to Christian rap. People should give it a chance. It’s extremely underrated.
It has its fair share of corny artists and music, some people really on that youth leader energy but they do it for the right reasons.
Lecrae has a lot of great music though. Some of it sonically has aged a bit poorly, but I mean he wasn't make this on much budget at all for a long time of course.
Church Clothes 3 is one of his best imo.
@@roachdoggjr4648 Just like wordly hip hop. There will always be corny lol the difference is its easier to accept corny when money is pushed and at the forefront.
I used to get made fun of and would watch people get turned off by the name of Christian artists. I go as far back to listening to gospel gangstaz and was their when Crae dropped his first album. Christian rap has came a long way.
Was waiting for this
Lacrae don't need to clout chase he's well known and established
been waiting love this response man
6:43 to be fair, that's biblically accurate
Truth. Translators clean up Paul’s letters a lot.
The two songs are a beautiful contrast of duality 🔥🔥🤎🤎 I loved this for hip hop.
Dee 1 - dropped a response too “ call it like it is 🔥
@Stevie Night Hey man, I just wanted to say I appreciate your video even though you’re not a fellow Christian and believer in Jesus there’s so many reactors not reacting to Lecrae’s “Ain’t watch the party die because they don’t want anything to do with Christianity anything or truth, so I just thank you for evening making a video on this!!! Your channel is🔥🔥💯
Thank you for this reaction! Lecrae showed em what he do!
Lecrae been rapping since early 2000
Love it, Lecrae did his thing. I will add tho, Christ died in place of the party attendees but he also burned the party down…
The veil being torn at His death signified no need for the high priests (Jewish party) to reach God for you. Historically all of the Jewish “parties” (sects: zealots, sadducees, and essenes) died and only the Pharisees continued in power. As a Christian and minister I feel that both Lecrea and K-Dot are right…two things can be true. I’ve experienced this first hand in my family.
Keep up the good work👏🏾
I’m glad Lecrae getting his flowers I love him🫡🙌🏽
I’m just glad that people are catching to how good Lecrae is. He been a dope MC
The period blood part makes everyone pull up 😂 but it refers to Isiah 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
Filty rags refers to mental rags, hence the bar from Lacrae.
Christ ain't watch the party die, he died instead of it 🔥
Lecrae... thats a name i havent heard in YEARS!
I agree. It’s not clot chasing it’s something else. Something like an alley oop.
Appreciate this breakdown, keep going King!
Stevie, the line about blood on a dirty rug... No matter how good we think we are, we are still FILTHY rags.
Dee-1 came out with his verses too 🙏🏾✨
“Period blood on a dirty rug” = Nasty!! Basically, his pass is no better than anyone else! Love it💕
Lecrae is the truth been following him since 116. Love that he came out with a response
*We living in an era where we writing tracks to uplift our brothers and sisters instead of diss tracks.*
As a fan of rap music, outside of the culture and the culture that inspired it, my personal perspective is that Kendrick giving light to artists like Lecrae can only be a good thing for the music and the fans. This feels, to me, like legitimate impact and a sharing of the mic to positive voices. It's fucking cool. I think about Tupac trying to bring people up who had stories to tell when I was younger. There's legacy implications to all of this.
The line about period blood refers to the Biblical imagery of "All our righteousness is but filthy rags" If you look into what the filthy rags is in the context you'll find that it is rags used to for period blood. Its pretty deep line if you know.
I took The line about my Good deeds being like period blood stains On a dirty rug being a metaphor in the sense that it is a natural occurrence That happens by accident.
Blood stains normally would signify violence, but being from a menstrual cycle Is a natural Thing from mother nature And sounds more like a positive connotation.
Their dirty rug is like a bad upbringing or surrounding That covers up what's underneath? Kind of a call back using his single mom and predicament as an excuse to pay the devil's wages
i get the metaphor but it's incorrect. the line was in reference to a scripture in the bible that says something along the lines that the righteousness of man is as flithy rags to god. if you know that scripture, you'd immediately make that correlation. several higher up the thread have explained the line and how it's ties to scripture.
@@joshuad3 2 things can be true at the same time, like a double entendre

I needa bizzle response
Lecrae is a pioneer of rap, he was in the industry, he obviously saw how wicked it was and became a Christian artist tho, I think that’s why Kendrick asked “what would lecrae do”

Saying his good deeds are worthless. They don't mean anything.
I believe he's saying it's something none wants to hear about!
@@jcox113079 could be. Might be a better interpretation of it. Good call.
In God’s pure and holy sight our good deeds would be equivalent to dirty rags, God is not impressed. All the good things we do are often still tainted by our own prideful or selfish motives. We are sinners through and through.
There's a few more out there Ray Vaughn goes hard Ransom I love what Lecrae did as well
I feel like this is the movement kendrick was pushing people to do. Uniqueness and messages in our music.

This reminds me of when Bizzle responed to Joyner. Christian rapper vs. Secular rapper. Then time passes and everyone back on secular rap, christian rap has some undeniably great talent. Bizzle, Lacrae, Bryan Trejo, Sevin, H.U.R.T. Kingdom Music is full of great artists, HogMob full of great artists, everyone sleeping on good music with great beats and good vibes, it's not drugs, bangin, bangin hoes, money, liquor, etc.
" In christ they watched the party die, He died Instead of it " DAMN ... had to pause to take that one in
This reminds of the energy of when Bizzle responded to Joyner Lucas' "Devil's Work."
