Now we're at Opus for the buckets to go into my GT R Roadster, and the pleasant surprise of a run with their decat GT Black Series on the dyno... I might have to do something like this to mine!

@@TheRuzo1330 isn't the airscarf is connected to the car climate control system and not standalone thing? Basically they're just a vents like dash ac vents and not gonna do anything outside the car.
@@HammerRocks , They are not bad as far as performance seats go. I have them in my car. I would not be able to live with those replacement buckets though. Different seats work for different people. There are also some super comfortable seats that give me a back ache after 30 minutes due to the bolster design.

It is very valuable to learn the details of changing parts in modern automobiles. Even the seats have interface with other aspects of the car and require computer handshaking to function correctly.
He should carefully consider exhaust it's not just how loud it is about how many different cracks and pops it make it is it's about how good it sounds more then how loud it is.
Honestly Tim that decat on the GT Black Series is just perfect for that powerhouse of a car, it is based off the GT3 racecar, so why shouldn’t it sound like one! That combined with the tune would be an absolute track weapon and is a must IMO.

As a German and also Sportscar Owner (started with a Used 2011 Nissan GT-R which i drove through all of Europe without ever having an Issue, now 10 Years later waiting to pick up my AMG GT Black Series soon! Anyway, to my Point, i just saw your Roadtrip Video here to Germany and immediately came here to leave a Comment, because when i reached the Autobahn Section the first thing i said was "Oh Gott" but then was positively surprised that you actually drive 100% EXACTLY as youre supposed to on our lovely Autobahn. I can't tell you how often i've seen foreign Sportscar Drivers who hogged the left lane even if some random Golf R or Audi RS3 came from behind at a higher Speed, you see this even in Videos from Foreign Seasoned Car Journalists & yes, also Foreign RUclipsrs with Sportscars who come here to Germany and then don't stick to the proper Autobahn Etiquette. Often it seems like they either don't realise that here you always make Room and after you have overtaken someone from the Left you immediately go back to the Center or Right Lane afterwards if it's empty, even if you go super fast. And sometimes i get the Feeling that they might be aware of this but are too proud to make Room for a Random VW, Audi, Skoda or whatever that is approaching from behind faster than the 200km/h they're driving in their Lamborghini Aventador or whatever Car. So seeing you drive the proper Way despite not being German and making Room for any Car deserves Respect I wish more Non-German RUclipsrs, Car Journalists etc. would learn a thing or two from you regarding Autobahn Etiquette Prost & Cheers from the Berchtesgadener Land in the Bavarian Alps
shmee just reminded me that the DMV lady didn't know what a roadster was, it was fun explaining that the r129 was both a convertible and a coupe at the same time. She had to pull her phone and google the car to really get it though.
It would be cool to add some custom ducting to make air scarf possible for the bucket seats. Or are the fans and heating integrated into the stock seats?

Hello Shmee! You should have gone for Mercedes‘ „multi contour“ seats,because they are the best of both worlds. They hug you only in corners,and are very comfortable the rest of the time,and the bladders inside the seat can cater for every body.
Those seats you have removed would make cool office chairs, get a gaming chair and take the seat off and put these on. Maybe every car you take the seats out of you could make them into office chairs, even have office chair of every shmee mobile?
Love the roadster! I personally really don’t like the colour. It would look mega in a white wrap with black accents/features - similar to the Pro, which I miss 😁
I was seriously making the surprised pikachu face when I heard the GTBS and saw it shooting flames. That was insane! Who knew a GTBS could shoot flames..... I'm thoroughly amzaed P.S. It would be so cool if you made those AMG performance seats into office chairs that are electrically adjustable and heated!
I think AMG figured the roadster would not be driven with as much anger as a coupe, hence the seats more suited for touring. I have a problem with large bolsters on seats as I'm older than you by a bunch and can't get out of the car over the bolster as easy. My 911 has the 14 way sport seats, not the sport plus or buckets.

Are you doing racing with the convertible? You will lose the seat heater and fine adjustment of the seat position. Why don't you save that for the black.
