The grille has grown on me. The fact that the number plate goes there makes it look better who would've thought that would be possible. I think this is the Swansong to high performance without regulations and BMW have built something special.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, many of these new cars will surprise you in real life if you have the chance to drive them. It's easy to judge over the internet where people are used to looking at very fast tuned cars compared to a stock one. Keep up the good work brother.
i have seen this in person and it just doesnt look like a bmw to me Im not a BMW guy but gosh is the one before this is damb nice looking, I like Chip Foose's redesign that would be amazing. Still an amazing car but will it do donuts like the previous one does??
I've seen quite a few in Bedfordview now. The black one doesn't look that bad to be honest. I hated it when I first saw pictures. The non M version in a dark colour looks strange but not ugly like I thought it would be. I just don't like the way the bonnet droops into the grill on the M3/M4.

There are aftermarket companies that made a replacement grill for this hideous 🐽 front end. But the engineering is exquisite and refined.
