Rancid and Green Day are practically the same. just have different influences. imagine both bands to be like brothers, only Green Day is the more outgoing popular brother, where Rancid is the more acquired, nasty, yet equally as popular brother. end of day, both bands deserve your respect.

I agree ..Warped tour is DEAD.they need to step up, or step down...nothing wrong with getting kids involved .I did my daughter went to her 3rd one this year, age 16, but it has gone to c(rap)

Green Day is not EVEN in the same category as ANY of those other bands you listed after them. Green Day worked hard to be where they are. way more than any of those "bands" did. (meaning a.l., g.c., & s.p.) Just because their music isn't punk anymore (pop punk IS a form of punk) doesn't mean they're shit. They're still rock. they've just expanded their music. you might not like them, but they still don't belong anywhere near that group.
