Since we don’t have a Presidential electoral system, I didn’t “vote Corbyn”, I voted for the local candidate adopted by the Labour Party.
Until such time as the Labour Party shifts its policies away from its current “centrist” position I will continue to vote for the Labour candidate endorsed by the national party.

Because government spending against borrowing provides direct value to tax payers which results in (among other things) long term reduction in government costs in other areas including education, public health, and infrastructure. Tax cuts against borrowing provide short term growth in the finance sector of the economy with high levels of volatility that often accelerate the popping of market bubbles and result in economic blowback. The central defense of Truss seems to be "she's strong in her convictions," but strength in ones convictions is only a good thing if they're well founded; her "strength in convictions" is just her being incredibly thick.
