Would love to see the Novsight n26, specifically designed for projector housing. I wonder how they perform next to the F9 ones. Thank you for bringing this type of content. Great review.
Came across your channel in my research on upgrading my Peterbilt 389 headlight bulbs. I like how you breakdown the performance of each review. Made my decision a lot easier. KInda torn between Hikira Titanova and Firewire. Would like to see your take on the Firewire brand, havent seen anyone do an in depth review on these. Thanks again and keep up the great work! 👍🏾
Good day Sir from the Philippines! Your video reviewing all the Auxito LED lights is bang on the mark and really helped me buy a set of Auxito lights for the low beams of my SUV, now I'm planning to replace my high beams with the Auxito M5S but I can't seem to find any reviews or test results for the M5S, even on the Auxito website itself. I would be over the moon if you did a review on the Auxito M5S since the listed specs of them on our local online shopping website / app is really outrageous, 22,000 lumens and 120 watts!
I purchased Hikari Titanovas based on your thorough reviews and comparison spreadsheet. I liked the Hikari Titanovas because the run fairly cool. They did not disappoint in my 2014 RDX, but l just installed the Lasfit LS Plus 4th gen because I like the slightly warmer temp (6000K Lasfit vs 6500 Titanova). Anyway, it would be greatly appreciated if you can review the 4th get LS Plus bulbs. I'm very interested to know if they run as cool as the Get 3 LS Plus. Keep up the great work!
As with halogens, never ever touch any surface that will be hot when in use. Because the grease/fat from your fingers will evaporate into a mist/smoke that will stick to any surface of the inside of the headlight housing ruining its performance as the surfaces now are foggy/milky.
This may seem a slightly strange suggestion but it would be interesting to see what would happen if you tried an external fan on the LED and driver to see how this would affect light retention after usage - just as a one-off experiment. 🤔
U should try to test the all new Morimoto - 2stroke 4.0 that it just came out. It’s even better than ever. For two things that caught my attention. Lifetime warranty, and that wattage increase after 15 minutes. From 18.5W to 22.5W. It acts like an HID thing. And it’s impressive. Even better than 2stroke 3.0
It won't blow F9 or Hikari, these American brands are just marketing experts selling their trash products through tasty warranties and hefty prices to fool.
Have you tested the Morimoto from Headlight Revolution? I’m asking as they say it’s the best one out there. Would I buy the Aurora Pro? - You bet I will. 😊
Have you ever tested past 27 minutes? What is the typical behavior? Do all continue to drop or does the brightness level out after a certain amount of time? I’d be interested to see the line graph of of a few, maybe 5 you choose, over 6 hours with 10-15 minute data point intervals. That way you could observe different behavior or if a similar trend exists. Could make for a cool video idea….
They typically level off after a few minutes to several minutes, but almost always before the 27 minute mark. That's what the driver does, it regulates the brightness so it doesn't overheat. Some lights are better at it than others. Thanks for the suggestions!
Good work. Thanks for the review. Is the 52.8 wattage observed the wattage actually drawn from the electrical system or is it halogen equivalent wattage?
Hey! Thank you for videos! My daughter have 2022 hunday elantra with terrible headlights bulbs! Come with 9005/HB3 ! Can you please recommend good led bulb replacment ! This car do lots off driving! 4 times a year to Florida from Nyc ! I am just concerned about heat! Please ket me know ! Thank you
Unfortunately, I can't suggest a recommendation for specific vehicles as I can't test them all, I am sorry to say. That's why I can offer a baseline reference. However, I do suggest that you review my headlight data spreadsheet here: carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and use that data to guide your decision. Sorry I cannot be more specific to your needs!
@CarLightReviews @DiamondVisionLED Do any of these bulbs dim with DRL via PWM? So far it just seemed like just the Morimoto 2 Strokes, GTR Ultras, and VLEDs, none of which are that impressive for the $
Here is the issue. DRL uses 6 volts PWM pulse width modulation, and modern higher wattage LED headlight bulbs (like my previous F5, F6, F7, and current F9) all need at least 9 volts to operate. Also, even if you have a LED bulb that supports 6v DRL, having it on all the time when driving would decrease the bulbs life span.
That’s one hell of an led bulb performance. Very rare to see higher than wattage expectations. Very impressive. @CarLightReview Are u currently working on more 3157R led bulbs by any chance? And reverse one of the led bulbs like sylvania zevo and sylvania standard led? By measuring the brightness in lumens since it’s more useful and temperature. And I’m wondering, what’s the color temperature is exaclty for red led.
Yes I’m subscribed. The bulbs I recently bought was because of your videos! Most informative videos I’ve come across. Will be looking forward to your future videos.
Thanks for the suggestion, but 50,000 lumens? That is quite ridiculous and bordering on absurd...and very likely complete fiction. Someone must have just made that up for marketing purposes. If it is true...which I don't believe it is...it would not be able to be used in any vehicle on the road today, because it would overpower both the OEM electrical system as well as the physical capabilities of the housing. It is a good looking light, though...and I am curious. Tell ya what...hit that "THANKS" button here on my channel, and cover half the cost of the light, I will cover the other half and do my test and honest review on it. Perhaps my prediction will be proven wrong? I'll be honest about it...like all of the videos on this channel...but I am clearly skeptical. What do you think?
You have to define "best". What is most important in an LED lighting upgrade for YOUR needs? Brightness? Value? Quality? Pick two of the three. Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the two categories you chose. As far as fitting under dust caps, that all depends on the size and shape of your headlight housing and dust cap. I started mentioning how deep the fan is in recent videos for people to know how far it sticks out. It sounds like you might need an all--in-one style. The F12 is in testing at the factory and the specs and design isn't finalized yet for production. It's about 120 initial wattage per bulb. Once the design is finalized, I get production samples to test in my own cars for at least 4-6 weeks to see how they work and if there are any "issues" that have to be fixed before I sell them.
@@ishaqthkr I had tried a different brands 120W bulb, but it started at 120w and then went down to 85w over 15 seconds. At this point I'm not sure yet about all the specs on the F12, I'm getting some more information from the design team and their testing.
Hi. According to his testing, our F9 in Projector is 2730 initial lux and 2102 lux after 27 minutes, in reflector the F9 is 5560 lux initial and 4281 after 27 minutes. The X7SEVEN in this video tested at 2040/1693 lux in projector and 4250/3528 lux in reflector. So if you just look at the 27 min results the Diamond Vision F9 in Projector is 2102 lux and X7SEVEN is 1693, and in Reflector the F9 is 4281 lux and X7SEVEN is 3528 lux. So our F9 is brighter, and under $100.
