- While we were sitting in our Office in Gurgaon and discussing things, we decided to Work from Mountains for a week. He insisted me to give a try to his familiar stay in Dalhousie. As my own Village is also located just about 3 hours from there, and I was also waiting to take my Car to my own Village in my new Home, these all factors worked and we left for the Trip in few days.
To enjoy such Work from Mountains trips, we always prefer to leave on 1 weekend and come back to home on another weekend. Also, we prefer to leave asap (preferably in early morning).
While we were having peace in the Mountains, we invited few more of our friends and made it a perfect trip to remember. Together, we explored local places in Dalhousie like Subhash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, Mall Road, etc. Adding to this, we went to Pohlani Mata Temple Trek (about 1.5 KM). After that, we went to Khajjiar to see the Meadows and then further to Jot Pass Top.

Thanks. We started at 4:25 AM in the Morning. The video has exact timestamps of our journey, in the Dashcam footage..
@@thealpinetraveller thanks for replying. So it's around 14 hrs drive from Delhi. I was also thinking but it's Pretty long drive.
On a serious note, it's not 14 hours. We took many stops. As shown in the video, I also took a long stop @ My Village. Also, I keep my average speed at ~80kmph on the highway. Otherwise, it's just about 10-11 hours of Journey, most of which are highway roads.

I prefer to keep the cruise somewhere between 80-85 on Highways. This is because I believe there is no sense of rushing on Highways (unless it's an emergency).

Petrol AT(my cousin's Car): I've got mileage of ~9.5kmpl when driving without harsh acceleration in the City. I believe it can go upto ~13kmpl on Highways.
Diesel MT 4x4(my Car): when driving without harsh acceleration, I get a minimum of ~13kmpl in the City. On the highway, I get a minimum of ~17kmpl.
XUV700 is for Luxury, High Speed stability and more of Family Car.
ScorpioN is for both purposes: decent luxury for Family and more rugged use(because ladder on frame).
Free Service cost me ₹0 first time and about ~₹8000(because of Oil Change, Filter change etc) for 2nd time. You can approx get Paid service by paying some more amount.
Highway mileage?
Maximum I got 19.5 while going up to Ambala... You can watch the video also, look in the MID in the video...

Boss I have booked z2 diesel with 130 bhp...so i can think it will give 17-18
