Great video as always. I noticed on your lookup sheet you had a title for the lookup list. I usually name the lookup list range to match the title (without spaces of course).

Good video! When I enter my items myself it doesn’t seem to work. I do put it in like you did, with the komma’s in between but then the it doesn’t show up as a validation list with yes and no seperately but only the option to get Yes,No as 1 sentenxe

I love doing dynamic data selection by converting data to a table, then using the INDIRECT command followed by the table name and voila!

Hi Leila, your videos are very helpful; thank you. I'm wondering, how do I combine this Drop-Down list feature with another feature. For example, I want to pick an item from the list, and that choice autofill another cell with a predetermined value. Also, I need to be able to manually type a value in that cell so I can't use a simple IF function. I am basically trying to 'push' a value to a blank cell.

What is the solution if we want to highlight source data cells, when we choose them in these multiple drop-downs (from another sheet is looking impossible, in this scenario) ?????
For this one I normally use Alt AVV as shortcut.
What a about calendar? Like a drop down around. Like the option we have under Windows/ Developer. How to install that option?

For cell phones and tablets, excel does not refer to it as a data validation.
It's called a "table"...
You select the area, then click table.
And the drop down list will insert.
Is it allowed now to create searchable drop down lists?
Typing isn’t working for me🤔 the first method did , but moment you delete the separated sheet it’s all gone

As long as they paste the exact values in the drop down list, it will work.

The font size for the standard drop-down can't be adjusted - at least not yet. Best is to be at 100% zoom level.
at a data sheet i have 99-95 as red, 94-90 as orange & 89-80 as yellow. how can these automatically turn to their respective colour when i select one from the dropdown list?

leaving first cell empty allows to get back to starting settings. Without that you always need to have a value there
if i put in yes,no or yes, no or yes , no it alswas puts as onliest drop down anser the entiere thing. Not as values....

I think you know too much about your subject. So in the beginning maybe what you were saying is do you want to make a list of customized drop-down options? So people understand a drop-down box it's easy to picture right away in your mind and then people know where you were going
