i think this will be the 1 and only that they do seriously no compatible list to validate whether its worth purchasing or not and not willing to find out after paying sofabaton at least gives some indication
It works via a Switchbot Hub so needs to be in Bluetooth range of that for controlling Switchbot devices but can also fire infrared signals so would need to be in range of your TV as an example too
This remote control was a fail for me. It does not support the basic used case of controlling two separate devices in the same scene so for example, I can’t have the majority of the buttons control my Apple TV while the volume controls my sound bar I have to switch back-and-forth between devices.
I don't have this remote but from my understanding what you do is add a custom remote. From here you can teach it navigation controls for Apple TV and the volume controls for your sound bar using the original remotes for both. This solution worked for me with slightly different setup. Hopefully someone who owns this remote can verify below.
My playstore review. The next gen SB Remote should mix 1) unfolded circle remote 3 and 2) ZM-RM01 4) aquara M2. IR Database are old and too limited ( 3 devices for BLE remote.).i have LG TV magic remote so SB remote unusable ( wait update). No Audio video receiver icon ...so no remote devices (wiim ultra) in DB. Hub is mandatory to record IR with SB hardware remote , SB hub 2 ll do less than aquara M3 hub that is also thread border router. All SB devices use BT beetween hub and devices ( no zigbee no zwave see).

Can it control appliances that don't have a remote/wifi? WELL then it isn't that smart 🤣.
