Why have I not heard this tune before? It's so lovely! Despite my voice being tired and tight (and notice the edge of my laptop in the shot 🤣) come sing this prayer of gratitude with me!

Dear Kathryn. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to hear you sing this hymn. "Es flog ein kleins Waldvoegelein" is an old German folksong for children. What a memory that is and now I hear it again as a beautiful hymn. I think I was about five years old when I first learned it. It is too amazing. I am so glad to hear your daughter is on the mend. Thank God for that. Just returned home from my work at the hospital. Tomorrow we'll have our volunteers' summer party with a lovely lunch, a glass of wine, entertainment and speeches of course.
