Gusto fumbled a good amount of passes too it's like he wasn't gauging the distances right and always underpassing that was my only complaint of the back today honestly. This is also a wake up call for the others to step up cause we can't rely on Palmer doing it all every time. He was great at giving Noni chances and whatnot but I still believe we could've gotten a few more in if Madueke chose to pass it but mistakes happen thats alright
I agree with everything you said except that last one about Enzo making defence-splitting passes. He's no Lavia. He was very poor today, and he was frustrating the hell outta me with his poor corner kicks. At this level, EVERY player on the team is supposed to be able to do at least TWO things: (1) take and score a proper penalty and (2) Deliver a corner kick past the first defender and into the penalty area.
Fair result, Forest look like they are going to be a nuisance for many teams. Sels and Sanchez were excellent in injury time, very entertaining 1-1 but really wish Mudryk got the game winning assist
Love me some Misha cameo in this season's PL!! 👏 Won't stop rooting him cause I always saw him as THE man to create chances, not score. So happy to see him focus less on trying to blast one through the net, and utilize his pace and dribbling to blitz past defenders to eventually assist or be the starting point of a goal scoring attack.

@@rafinanjum3767 Stop the cap, you're giving cristiano ronaldo way too much credit here. Nkunku had zero defenders within at least a six foot radius. He ran off Murillo's shoulder towards the center of the goal and Murillo gave him even more space by going towards the first post. Murato was the defender behind him and he stayed towards the last post and never closed on him. So, your point about him "running between defenders" as if he were being squeezed in a tight space is moot. He was WIDE OPEN when he made contact with the ball and all he needed to do was head the ball back towards the direction it came from and head the ball down and Sels would have had very little chance of making that save. That is STANDARD finishing that any coach would coach his forwards to execute and something that should be a walk in the park for someone at this level. It does not require any "elite" finishing as you suggested. Instead, he headed the ball right in Sels' wheelhouse, right in the direction that Sels was moving. It WAS a save that required quick reflexes, but Christopher made it easy for him by heading it right where Sels' natural body motion was taking him anyway.
@@Didurmumdirty Well that kind of thing doesn't belong into football field though. It's a bit same than Chiellini pulling Saka's shirt in Euro 20 Final it shouldn't be allowed and yellow feels kind of cheap. Of course Ward Prowse already had one yellow before that so ends up being sent off.
