The flavored pods are indeed marketed to kids they are cheap brightly colored and are complete trash for your health. Owner should phase them out but right now they make way too much money off them so its hard to turn down that profit.

Im not sticking up for people selling fake products to the public, that's what needs to be dealt with. It's a health problem.
If you make the participation in the cannabis market easier, then this would not happen to the scale it's happening. The products would be better regulated & more standards could be in forced. People doing it legally would have a lot to loose, so they would comply more.
If NY State wants to keep up with supply then they have to let the demand be satisfied by legal dealers adhering to zoning laws, like near schools, & other laws, & paying taxes. Let everyone that qualifies & pays their dues, "make some Green selling Green".

That bodega actually sold edibles to a kid who in turn went to the hospital, that's why they were busted. Fort Hamilton Parkway and 45th Street is actually a crime ridden block because of those very bodegas that sell a lot more than cigarettes, alcohol and weed.

When they did get it they had corporations offering to buy it twice to three times the amount. And that wasn't even for the recreational.

This is interesting. I live here in Brooklyn and there's a cannabis store across the street. And for whatever reason I have noticed a police presence on that same block the last couple of weeks and that store is allowed to operate. I was under the assumption that licenses were already given out. 🤔
