I've spent a lifetime watching mainstream media news and just realized, I have never seen the REAL South Africa. Just 10 minutes of looking at the streets, houses and people, gave me more credible knowledge about SA, that I couldn't get from a lifetime of news watching. I like SA now.

For Noraly this bike is almost perfect. As she said when she bought Ronin she needs a bike where she can sit in the saddle and touch the ground and pick it up if it falls over. 250cc is a bit small for the paved roads but the majority of her riding is off road where it is ideal. Riding the Sani Pass and Die Hel was what Savannah is made for.

When I rode SA I always marvelled at the courtesy of SA drivers. They pull over to the left into the service lane to let you pass. Then you give them a flash of your hazard lights to say thanks. You saw one on this vid (little white car) and Noraly was chatting and didn’t pass. Driver probably thought....ummmmm. I wish that practice was world wide! They do have great tarmac in SA with wide service lane which makes the practice easier.

You have clearly missed the part at the penguins where she stated that she does not want to leave Savannah unattended. Had she believed it was safe, she would have walked to the beach where most of the penguins are. She missed quite an experience because of that. As you will notice she also does not come to a complete stop at stop signs, another small thing to keep safe.
Hopefully she will have another chance to see penguins at Boulder, where she could hopefully leave Savannah without her personal belongings exposed to opportunistic fingers.

When I saw the houses of Elim I felt they strangely reminded me of the villages in South Moravia (Czech Republic). Then I found out that Elim was established by the Moravian missions back in 1824. The story of the Moravian world missions is very unusual and exciting, worthy to learn about!

    Penguin 1: What is it?
Penguin 2: Looks like an alien to me!
Penguin 1: Will you stop it.
Penguin 2: Look at it's gigangtic white head. That's not a man, their heads aren't that big.
Penguin 1: It isn't an alien.
Penguin 2: It is, I'm telling you, look it's in a military style uniform, it has a sash on and peaked cap on. It's an alien soldier. The alien invasion has started...
    Penguin 1: Kids, go indoors...
