Early 80s, I went to junior high school in Ayutthaya the one right next to Wat Mahathat. On weekdays, my friends and I rode bicycle around 3 km to school and on weekends, we rode bicycle around historic parks and temples even some mosques. When the weather turned hot, we went to our friend's house on the side of the Chao Phraya river and jumped in there. On those days there were a lot of boats passed by selling drinks, snacks, ice cream, and of course boat noodles. We sat on the river side eating those food without disturbing our swimming. My Ayutthaya native friends taught me how to play some ancient kid games that I never heard of. It was a very good time of my life. I still go back every year to meet my friends at the school reunion.
Wow, love that 100-year-old Thai house. All the artwork and wood just looked so relaxing and warm. So funny the way Note talked to Rocket like he was talking to his child 555.
We were there in January 2023 and really enjoyed it and it's so nice to revisit in your video ! Our guide told us the Buddha head in the tree roots had actually been moved one or more times in the past. Loved your video especially the traditional Thai house on the island
I happened to stay in a traditional Thai house in Chiang Mai by "accident" when a previously booked hotel changed management just days before my arrival and the booking was voided. So a last minute booking I chanced upon a traditional Thai house. Not as well equipped as the property you both stayed in, but the main idea is there. Mainly made of wood, which I absolutely love it, so I needed to be light footed, etc. Given another chance, I would definitely want to stay in another such traditional Thai house again.😊
That's very respectful of you to remember to be light-footed. We stayed at a wooden house (not a traditional house) and people were walking so loud and rolling their luggage around... it was not very considerate at all 😅
This video is so beautiful. Your footage is getting better and better. I’m falling in love with your channel because of your personality and positivity. You’re guys such a lovely couple. I also love the way you present the story. It’s not only a travel video, but it’s a (good) way of life, the way that we can choose to do something nice and do what makes us happy. Your videos inspire me to start to do something, not only to travel, but to do something that makes me good and fulfilling. Thank you for sharing your experience. Keep up the good work na ka. 🙂✌🏻
Beautiful video with such beautiful places. This old wooden house is a gem. And your filming and editing skills have gone to a "next level" as would Paddy say 😁
Great that Rocket brought you guys to Ayutthaya without giving any problem. A smooth journey indeed !! A very informative and interesting tour around that historic park. Wow, that hundred year old traditional Thai house is gorgeous. It's absolutely an amazing experience spending a night there. Again, you both are lucky, able to enjoy that two traditional dishes. Thank you very much for sharing this coooool video with excellent content. Good job, Flora & Note.
All the food in this video looked amazing! I was especially in awe of the dishes at Ban Ruem Tubtim. At first, I thought the pomelo in the salad was woon sen noodles! I was only briefly in Ayutthaya, and remember sitting in a coffee shop while a lakorn was being being filmed in the area. Can't wait to go back to Thailand some time soon. Love the vlogs, Flora and Note.
Ayutthaya people coming to Ayodha on 22nd Jan i.e day after tomorrow for the inauguration of biggest RAM temple here in India. Already waters from Chao Phraya, Lop Buri and Pa Sak is brought here for the Rama temple. Cultural program will also take place at Ayutthaya on 22nd Jan. If you happen to be there please capture it and show us here. Would love to see devotees sing, have a play of Ramayana, folk dance in Ayutthaya. ^^
What a cool place. Happy you got your Pork Rinds, Flora! The ancient Thai house and area looked amazing. Really curious about that pomelo salad? Looks like nothing I’ve ever had. Is it sour or more savory? Cheers guys❤
Flora and Note it is good to see you both bike ride. Flora and Note I'm also glad you both got a break in Ayutthaya. The Mitchelin Boat Noodle looks very good. I love you both Flora and Note.
Beautiful area , what got my attention is the drone shots highlighting so much wonder and colour - taking a bicycle is certainly suitable there - luv seeing the boat noodle place busy and gosh that temple was special - Wow everywhere - Thanks so much 🙏🙏
A really nice video! In a future video could you please give us a little background on each of you, just wondering where you grew up, because your English is excellent, especially Flora's😊
Thanks for watching! Note is from Thailand and I am from Hong Kong but we both grew up in Canada. We did speak about it in more detail in our Livestream video (thanks @johnalex5466)
It’s such an Eye Candy City.. great scenes and venues to experience ..I loved the ease of getting around Thailand and the incentives when one gets to one’s destiny🙏🙏
Loved Floras comment “there’s no more pork rinds “ and so I was expecting Super Hubby Note to whip a bag outta his backpack like a super hero would do😉. Just a thought for Next time Note😜
I must visit. Will do on our next trip back to Thailand. We were in kho samui last week. Sorry we could not meet up. Maybe next time Keep your great videos coming. Rob and Benci. Toronto.

I love watching your videos so much! You guys are very inspiring and so much fun. I am looking forward to traveling myself. I just wanted to ask which gear you use to shoot your vids, not the aerial shots. Do you primarily use the GoPro 10 or your Fuji camera? Just asking so I know what gear to get. Thak you in advance and keep producing great content!!! :)
So happy you enjoy our videos! We primarily use our Fuji camera for filming + iPhone 13 Pro Max. We only use the GoPro for action shots (ie. biking, swimming, car dash...etc).

Rocket pushed through 7 hours on the highway to get to Ayutthaya 😅 We were so proud! He deserved a little rest from us haha
Ayutthaya, one of my favorite ancient places in Thailand. Beware the bats in some of the pagodas😁
It is now ours too 😊
