Bowie is a legend for a reason. Changed his sound many times and it was always good. A true artist. You need to listen to the entire album. It's a classic from beginning to end with great songs!
Roxy Music and Bowie are my all time favorites. I appreciate your musical explorations. Bryan and David were amazingly talented artists and innovators at very young ages. Bowie was in his early twenties when he developed Ziggy Stardust and this music. Imagine that.
If you ever saw the movie "The Martian", there is a scene where Matt Daman is floating weightless in his craft, hurtling across space and this song is played....incredible! Bowie is great and he always changes in each album.
What a beautiful and crazy reaction... Thanks for this great artist, I saw the smile he gave you... He's a big lost for us, his fans and family... You were wonderful... Love from France 🇫🇷😘
Great reaction! This is from the album "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" and I think you'd love the whole album.... it's a great introduction to the strange, beautiful alien that was David Bowie :)
loved your reaction, I would like to make a request, David Bowie's 'Win' and 'Fascination' both of which I have found no reactions on RUclips, but I love both songs
I just found you because of your reaction to Roxy Music "Virginia Plain", so imagine my delight when I saw that you had just reacted to this, as well. And as I was looking for this I saw you also reacted to Wizzard "See My Baby Jive". If you are gonna stay on a roll with all this classic 70s UK Glam, then I'll definitely subscribe.
Hi :) I started as a Bowie fan about 1979 ...yes, I'm old, it's okay ;) You will find that he changes style on every album, and with fifty years of work, that's a LOT of changes. No two albums sound exactly the same.
Another David Bowie song that you should absolutely check out is Word on a Wing, live from Vancouver in 1976. That's a very passionate performance!!! 🙂💙
I was all time crazy by the Beatles and Lennon but when i fox on bowie songs i laft all music in the world and only listen to him he is the best singer ever i gess
This is you being exposed to one hair on one eyebrow, (that he occasionally removed), and trying to grasp this man's genius. I would only suggest you continue to explore, because the spread of his influence cannot be analyzed by a million who are pouring over his work in wonder and awe. We are all to personally enamoured and involved. We cannot remove us from the man, because he is in our DNA. I am wiped out, that he was here and he is gone. How could that be?
This is fantastic. I love David Bowie. Interestingly, there is a guy called Stevie Riks who impersonates people, and his version of David singing Starman is incredible.
The thumbnail kinda bothers me, honestly. This song is from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars, his 1972 album, but that picture, with the lightning bolt, isn't from that album, and isn't that character. It came from his 1973 album Aladdin Sane, and the character of Aladdin Sane is different from Ziggy Stardust. One is an alien, and the other is a schizophrenic war veteran. This song is about people hearing Ziggy's songs on the radio. He's gonna come and save them from an apocalypse. The album is conceptual. That chorus was influenced by Judy Garland's Somewhere Over the Rainbow, from The Wizard of Oz. It's a classic.
Hello tinyma and have you thought about live streaming on twitch and starting your podcast and starting your own and starting your own vlog channel on youtube and starting your own tiktok account and starting your own discord account and starting your own patreon account or onlyfans account in the future

What you are listening to is a musical genius and he will never be replaced
David Bowie's whole musical catalog is to blow anyone's mind! I have never known any other artist to be that original and sophisticated level as him

This whole album is a masterpiece.
So happy to see you enjoyed this.
Have you listened to the entire RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS?
It tells an entire story.
Love that song plenty more great songs and his sound evolved over time .

Oh Yeah - "let the children boogie" 🤩
THat's the late, GREAT mick ronson on guitar and string arrangements. Bowie/Ronson, for my money one of the greatest duos in rock n roll history.
Heartwarming. Let the children boogie. Older children too. Keep the electric eye and ear sharp.

If the chorus reminds you at all of "[Somewhere] Over the Rainbow," that's not an accident
you are a wonderful reviewer, may I suggest David bowie's songs Win and Fascination
You gotta hear the album Ziggy Stardust ..It is a trip without having to go any where /
Genius
Just to add more confusion, Bowie himself was a 🌟 child.xxxx.
Shallow!

BOWIE = Rock god!

Incredibly crap, yes. Riks always makes his Bowie sound as if he was 126

@@ardentdesir5796 Thank you for your opinion
@@ardentdesir5796 I can't stand him. His Paul McCartney is more parody than actual impersonation.
