Cosmo has come a long way. I was a student at BYU when the School President, Earnest Wilkinson, took off the headgear and we saw it was him at a basketball game. We all applauded and the place was in an uproar. Of course, that was only for that one game. Cosmo was not the athlete he is today and has become an ambassador of good will for the school. In my opinion, BYU is the finest school in the nation, teaching much more than reading, writing, and 'rithmatic, and he is more than a mascot but represent much of what we feel about the country, other schools and other teams. Thanks Cosmo.
