They do have beds! Go look at the screenhot of Knuckles with the rubber chicken and you’ll see two other beds behind him. Might not be obvious at first

I havent made a mistake while making "Sonic:Hedgehog-Avenger" and making Sonic call Tails and Knuckles his brothers.
They're all living in the same room together
I mean just like how Tom and Maddie adopted Sonic at the end of the first movie, they adopted Tails and Knuckles at the end of the second movie. So that does kinda make them adoptive siblings now. And plus they are gonna share a room with Sonic I'm pretty sure from what we saw in the trailer up in the attic for a fraction of a second.

The “you are grounded” scene is obviously different to the “you can’t ground an echidna warrior” I think what’s going to happen is knuckles gets grounded and is like you know what you can’t stop me so he kind of just runs away from home to find someone that actually needs him and his skills (him running away would also explain why Sonic isn’t tagging along with Sonic since they wouldn’t know where knuckles is) and the scene where knuckles says “you can’t ground an echidna warrior” is just knuckles talking about his frustration about the whole situation
