Believe it or not, the streak thing is actually an issue with the get up animation. On that enemy specifically it's really pronounced, but it basically has to do with a combination of stagger immunity from DT and the get up making the weird hit box on Max streak freak out and the momentum just sorta keeps going. It's annoying, yeah, but it is sometimes predictable. Not always though.

I can't believe you beat him like that, when I try to do showdown, at the beginning of the 2nd phase I always get hit directly by the crystal, I wonder why you didn't got hit by it.
But still you did really great, got to learn some things too, so Helter Skelter is good against the crystal I'll keep that in mind when I retry mission 8.

just a tip if you ever do this again as long as you dont attack on d c or b you get way more style than usual (you can just spam enemy step do get a b without attacking )

Mission 8 Urizen is too hard.
He damage too much also doesn't allow me to jump cancel when he has crystal barriel.
And then that tentacle chasing me blow my mind. Xd

Why do you not jump cancel? And also why don't you use gerbera/gp01?
For the short answer: I mostly use JC to keep myself from falling too quickly. As for Gerbera, I just don’t need it as a mobility tool. I’ll use it from time to time to change things up, but I simply don’t need it except for its Breakage move.
For the long answer: Using JC for combos depends on what I want to achieve, but for the most part, the game is just boring when you use it frequently. You’re basically just cheesing enemies when you use it with Nero. I enjoy making combos that are more methodical. Now, for Gerbera, unless you meant the Gerbera combo using JC, then no I don’t use it because that’s the most overused combo for Nero ever. I jumped the wagon once back then, but I’m out of it. The amount of fails and misses when you use that combo to the point where it’s a horrible habit is ridiculous and the amount of effort to achieve it is tiring and it’s no longer fun later down the road. You really don’t need this combo to make Nero look cool. I’m still not even sure why Nero players think that you need it for pro plays after three years. You hardly see any fun combos like Sakaki anymore.
