Thanks! We don’t plan on stopping, and honestly, seeing so many people subscribe and comment is super motivating for us to make more videos. We really appreciate you guys! 🙏
Nice result. A couple of pointers 1. Wood always to one side or the other. Never opposite the opening (ie. the rear). The flame must rise up and cross the dome to cook the pizza. 2. Only cook pizza when the wood is ablaze, never when there's only glowing embers. 3. Oven temperature should be around 450°c and the pizza cooked in 60 to 90 secs turning it 180° half way through.
As a master mason i see a few things you could/should hav done diff But you did it and it worked out Congrats never be afraid to step out your comfort zone
After everything else is gone, this oven will still be standing. Future archaeologists: "This is apparently a small shrine to the house gods of agriculture. Note the remains of cereal-based foods which were placed here and burned for offerings."
I just found this channel and I am 100% definitely supporting you guys from here on out, your content is truly amazing, as a 17 year old kid who has about 2 years of carpentry under his belt, I still have a ton to learn and try, you guys have definitely taught me that we learn as we go and always have each other’s backs, we are after all “Bros not Pros”, so thank you and keep up the great work!!
I don't know why, but I'm getting DUDE PERFECT vibes. Hopefully you guys will become as big as them and have some sort of collab. Keep it up with the great content.
I like the vibe of the phrase "Bros not Pros." It encourages people to DIY and have fun with the bros, because it is what matters more than the end itself. It resonates with me because I always wanted to DIY since I was very young, but was discouraged from doing so because I'm not a "Pro."
WONDERFUL! Certainly, that's much too much for Hubby & me these days, but watching is all so enjoyable. I have no clue how I found all of this, but now both Hubby and I are watching your channel. We're definitely very cool - having grown up in the 60's - and we have a few compliments to send your way. Corny, I know, but heartfelt nevertheless. This is the retired lady who watched with such glee your patio-fire pit videos. I'm also the Mom of 4 sons and Yiayia to 4 grandsons, and I must say, you BROS are extremely talented, great fun, and especially well-mannered. Someone should be quite proud. The pizza looked scrumptious. Literally > well done!!
Great work guys. Just one thing - since the fire bricks were such a snug fit, heat expansion might cause the rim of the concrete tabletop to break off at some point.
I'm very hyped about this channel's content. Straight-forward and to the point while also being funny and enjoyable. I just found my new go-to DIY channel.
First time viewer of your videos. I just built what is consider an authentic wood burning pizza oven. Three grand in material and a year to build. Yours....rocks! Damn I wished I'd just done something like yours! You'll get all the quality, taste and enjoyment as mine and 11-1/2 months sooner! Good job guys!
I use a steel 1/4 plate for my pizzas in a standard oven it works great and not as delicate ceramic pizza stones. This is a good alternative for those who don't have the funds, space or skill set to attempt something like this. Great work guys and yummy looking pizza.
Bro tip - cut the wood thinner for a better flame, you actually want flame going over the top of the dome for certain type of pizzas and you'll get a little bit of char on the crust and cheese if you like that.
Mason here, for the bricks I build a wooden arch and lay brick over top of it. The next day I remove the wood and use tuck up the joints where the wooden arch was.
So strange that some people are against of wearing jeans during work. Jeans originally are for work. Miners and diggers used this as they are very tough.
Dont know why you guys dont have millions of subscribers with that quality looking like a tv show i enjoyed the video new subscriber keep up the good work!
Awesome video. Just fyi, guys: For pizza ovens, it's really best to stagger the fire brick joints on an angle (herringbone style), so you're less likely to get your pizza peel hung up on a brick joint.
I made my oven entirely out of brick (don't do it, there's no insulation) and the whole thing is one big arch. I made a form (picture a quonset hut) that was just strong enough to stack the bricks to make the arch. I made it out of 1x1 sticks and some heavy duty cardboard to form the arch and then when I was done I cut it out with a sawzall. If you're just making an arch for the front of the oven you could probably just stack a bunch of flattened amazon boxes that you cut into half circles to build up some thickness. Keep it together with bailing wire, stack your bricks and burn it out (or soak it with a hose and pull it out) when you're done.
I've seen my fair share of quality creative content on RUclips and you guys are just waiting for the algorithm gods to bless you and your channel will explode. Next year you're at 1 mil subs no doubt.
For those who have such a problem with jeans, I’m a construction worker and I’ll have you know we are required to cover our legs even if it’s 100 degrees out.
For your domed entrance, you should have cut plywood to the curve you wanted and stacked the bricks on it. For the stucco, just use type S cement and do it in one coat, that's what is on the outside of all these Florida homes.
Great video! Love the energy and interactions. The Camera work and editing is clean and the sound is well balanced! Thank you for the inspiration! I wish I had a partner to do these kinds of fun and laborious projects with!
when i did our countertops they had a special countertop mix it was like a 10k lbs mix. the directions also had us mix the bags with minimal water. the stuff looked like it was barely wet at all i didnt think there was nearly enough water in it. when we hit it with the vibrator though it finally settled in there and dried with zero cracks over a span of 30 feet.
Nice! I’m sure there were better ways to pour the concrete table top, but it definitely worked for us doing it this way. It dried with no cracks, but has cracked a little now, probably because of the extreme heat.
ONe of the BEST channels on RUclips.....you guys are hilartious with no freaking ego's like so many others......Subscribed IMMEDIATELY!! Thanks for the knowledge and fun video!
I thought the rebar hanger was a nice touch. Just curious to know if you guys used it at all and what were the results. Looks like it was fun project overall. Nicely done.
THIS IS NICE to see how's is made, i hired contractor doing this , MINE is Bigger & wider & all solid made with stones, steel , bricks & concrete , no woods ..is NOT cheap costed me around $8000...but when pizza comes out of it ahhhhhhhhhh finger licking good , F the pizza places , nothing beats this
Honestly that was amazing! Spot-on! I’ve been waiting forever for this video (it feels like) and finally it has arrived. Best part of all I wasn’t disappointed in the least bit! Keep doing outdoor builds, it’s SO motivational!
First video I see of you guys, great project! Ps. Personally I find wearing jeans while working outside less worrying than wearing flip-flops while lifting a concrete slab weighing a few 100 pounds🙂
Just a little tip bro’s, when ya mixing the concrete you got a fair bit there on our worksites we usually use a wheelbarrow with a square mouth shovel to mix it up makes it easier to not spill any awesome work bros 🤙🏽🤙🏽👌🏽
I make my own pizza dough from scratch, I swear home made pizza is the best, whether you cook it in a normal oven in ya kitchen or you cook it in a pizza oven - nothing tastes better than homemade pizza, I would never buy a frozen pizza or order pizza from a pizza shop as take away that stuff tastes like the cardboard box it sits in steaming in cardboard before you get home to eat it.....every home owner needs a wood burning pizza oven....nothing tastes better in the world than this.

Use a lil corn meal on the Pizza Peel. *It slides right off puttin into oven and the taste on bottom of pizza is ridiculously good*..
Pro cutting tip on the styrofoam. Just use a safety knife, cut into half the thickness and crack off the piece. It's should result in a clean straight break👍
on the bottom you should make a heating rack to keep other pizzas hot wile the others are cooking so you can bring them all out at once. and have 2 shelves so the top one could be for pizza heating and the bottom for wood and other things you may need like the paddle and cole
I've been waiting for this moment for ages, bros! HELL YEAH, PIZZA!

Wearing shorts is an easy way to get a leg scraped up. Also, what do those commenters think cowboys wear…outside everyday…in the heat lol
Awesome job bros. I’ve been wanting to build one of these but it’s so time intensive. At some point I’ll break down and do it. Congrats
