@@salendrak i somehow lost the pwnhammer or I didn’t pick it up. Is it possible to fight the wall of flesh again if you’re already in hardmode or will I have to get the hardmode ores through fishing?
My brothers and I accidentally killed the guide in our world and now we don't know how to spawned the Wall of Flesh, So we had to do another world💀 in the end, this really help us thank you so much bro👍
this is the most helpful and underrated channel I've ever seen. You tell almost EVERYTHING we can do for the particular episode of the series. Keep going man love u ❤

Hey It's great to see you posting to this series again. I really enjoyed your approach in the original videos. Your sense of humour coupled with your no nonsense delivery is exactly what I need in tutorial videos. Some other tutorial videos are very self-indulgent and are more about the creator and not the tute. So THANK-YOU!
"These demons are somewhat rare!" i've accidentally summoned the WoF more times than i can count But seriously, this is a really great guide. Thank you for making these!
The vampire frog staff works really well for summoners. While at first glance they don't have a super high attack stat, they make it up for it with really high attack speed, making it so overall they have a higher dps than the imps. In my hardcore world they shredded the wall of flesh in like a minute tops with the bone whip.
I use hornet staff. It summons hornets that will deal damage by hitting the wall, launching stingers and generally I a summoner tend to have a gun or demon scythe beside my whip
The mole minecart makes it very easy aswell. As you can lay out a long straight track and switch to a faster minecart. Let's you keep distance easier while not worrying about knockback or the lavaslimes
while waiting for the episode, i went ahead and am about to beat moonlord on my second play through, and wouldn’t have gotten started easily without the series
I always build a railway from side to side, so I can focus on attack, and not worry about movement over land. It's easier to lay down in the first place too, and gives for a smooth ride. As the Wall of Flesh speeds up, I can ride faster on the cart, so I can leave accessory slots free for other perks and leave out speed boosts. Also if you don't have knockback protection, your safer in a mine cart, as this can't be effected by attacks. Mine cart tracks are also a cool way to get around your map if you don't have teleporters. On a medium sized map, you'll need around 8,000 track to completely cover the underworld from side to side. While death is certain if you Magic Mirror away, at least any coin you drop will be in your house for when you resporn.
@@salendrak It's also a great idea for surface boss arena battles, making a continuous hexagonal loop, and sporn the boss in the middle. Then drive the cart at speed and use a homing weapon to target the boss. Great way to avoid damage, and keep the boss on his toes.
I'm currently doing my first ever master mode playthrough. I'm playing with two friends and so far we have beaten the EoC, King Slime, and EoW. We haven't done Skeletron yet but I've got 420 health, and full molten gear. So far, we've beaten every boss on our first attempt. I even solo'd our first goblin invasion without a single death, with pre EoC gear (it came right after the boss). Funny enough, my first death was to the very first blue slime that spawned in the world. It killed me before I chopped down my first tree. But after that, I haven't found the game too difficult yet :)
That's impressive! Is this everyone's first time in Master Mode? Once you get used to it, it's really not too bad, and going back to expert or classic will feel way too easy!
@@salendrak One of my friends said she played on Master Mode a little but she didn't go as far as hardmode. I think she was just messing around mostly. The solo goblin invasion was funny because I only had a platinum bow. Half way through, I decided to run to the Arms Dealer and buy a minishark and musket balls but I had to buy them before the goblins caught up to me. I spent most of the time just dodging, despite not even having Hermes Boots yet. The only times I actually noticed the difficulty so far were that first blue slime, and my first encounter with a bone serpent (mostly because I got trapped).
@@salendrak Oh also I should add I haven't played the game at all since before 1.4 released, because I don't like to play alone and had nobody to play with for a couple of years.

your terraria guides helped me so much :D. (i even made it to the point where i killed 3 eyes of cuthulu in one night) I just beat king slime today. Also, do the hearts in crimson ever respawn?
Unfortunately, no they do not respawn, but by fishing in the crimson, you can get crimson crates, which can contain the same items as breaking a heart.
I don't know why so many Terraria players don't use summoner weapons as an added boost to their loadouts...... I love ranged builds and I always add a summon buddy..... add in the 1st Old Ones Army armor you can buy.... and you'd gain extra summon slots and awesome armor for your preferred loadout. To farm OOA battle for coins to buy armor..... I use my favorite cheese method lol.... -- Build a flat arena about 120 blocks on both sides of your middle area....in the middle, put the diamond altar you bought from Tavernkeep (can elevate altar 1 block up from the floor). At each end.... add wall blocks at least 10 high (will come into play later). -- On the floor, about 15 blocks away from alter....place dart traps from the dungeon on both sides (can even stack them)....can add more traps closer to end of each side....make all traps face AWAY from middle. -- Setup wires so you can control the traps near the altar w/ 1 button or switch. -- Use water bolt (or any other bounce-capable ranged or mage weapon -- this is important to have). -- Stand in middle (on or near altar).... this is why traps are placed far enough from middle and must face away from middle. -- Quickly shoot water bolt in one direction then shift sides and shoot a lot in other direction......bounce of water bolt means enemies will get hit twice. -- Flying summons are really helpful for OOA..... Bees or Imps are my go-to. -- Repeat this for easy OOA currency and can use for all tiers of OOA farming. -- Keep all loot to sell for easy cash too. **** In between each round....quickly collect all mana and place it in a chest near altar......once OOA is defeated DO NOT OPEN THAT CHEST or all mana will disappear...... Once you spawn a new OOA ONLY THEN can you open the chest without losing the mana collected...... use this method for gaining points to spawn sentries (I recommend the Ballista sentry 1st) -- I use 30 mana each spawn (it costs 5 mana for every Sentry spawn). 3 sentries on each side....1 on ground.... 2 in air. -- I have some blocks in the air to place Ballistas on each side so they can handle flying mobs....have all sentry spots you want near middle so you don't have to move a lot.
You mentioned them in the Queen Bee episode, but you didn't mention Beenades in this video. I find them EXTREMELY useful. Also, if you have the Frostspark Boots or any upgrade to them (like the Terraspark Boots), making your Hell Bridge out of ice will let you accelerate to top speed very quickly. And ice will also be changed to pink / purple / red ice when hit by the Hardmode V, making the Hollow & evil biome sections of the Hellbridge.
yeah, I pretty much just forgot to use the beenades in the video LOL. Good point on the ice though! I've also heard of people placing sand on top of something else and then using the dunerider boots. It's nice to have options!!
Man when im playing terraria i always pick one of these 2 channels for guides 1. Salendrak (you) 2. Zuzucorn Ur guide is really useful i used ur guide for classic and currently im in expert late pre hard mode
I’ve been playing at least 10 years maybe more, this game continues to have new things to learn about. Anybody care to explain the “V”? I’ve actually never heard of it before and I’m interested lol
Alright I’ve prepared for nearly everything and I’ve been excited to tackle this monster of a boss so I can finely progress further this video is really helpful Because I play on Xbox I don’t have to worry about the hardmode V but that means that it will be random on where my hollow and corruption spawn so I’ve purposely not built a underground farm because I want to wait build it specifically in the hollow for souls of light and rod of discord and also the spawns for queen slime
funny enough i tried the paintball gun against our good friend the wall of flesh and it worked surprisingly well (In combination with beenades after those ran out)
I beat it on expert mode (first time) but I did glowing mushroom platforms and I used 1600 of them. Also I chose a melee class (bad idea) with every buff you can get in pre hard mode… ended up dying at the same exact time as the wall of flesh and it counted
Yay!! Defeated the expert mode wall of flesh! It wasn't hard tho, just use Night's edge and Lightning boots and the Magiluminesence and you're fine. But that damn crimson wants to spread badly, it came in the opposite side of the one that has the crimson. Now I have to build extra houses for desert NPCs now. Edit- The crimson hitted the Snow biome, not the desert, and I already got Titanium armor in less than an hour, experience lol
Not really - it's damage output is kind of low, and the Hungry will get in the way. Meteor bullets have at least some piercing, but from what I recall the minishark still has trouble pumping out enough damage.
i recommend using beenades, they are very powerful to the wall of flesh if you've never encountered him. It will quickly kill the hungry and will do a ton of damage to the wall of flesh. i think i beat that boss in like less than 10 seconds with those beenades
I've used that before, but for some reason forgot to specifically use them in this video. I wonder how well they work on Expert or Master Mode, as the Bee Gun did fine on Classic, but struggled on the higher difficulties...
Bruh i was waiting for this but I ran out of patience and even defeated the mechanical bosses too late I guess but hey keep it up and just make shure you upload frequently to maintain consistency it is the key to gain success on RUclips
Oh, lol - yeah, don't wait on me if you're progressing through the game. I've got lots of real life responsibilities and other distractions and projects I'm always busy with. I'll finish the series eventually, but it's still gonna be a while before I get to the Moon Lord!
Its probably not going to take as long because we have more repetition from early pre-hardmode with gathering ores and also mabey also a guide to events such as the old one's army would be helpful!
i'll hang around ti'll I can get some solid advice on the mechanical eye, I know the daedalus bow is apparently the easy way out but it feels like nothing else works
Really high mobility helps a ton for the twins. If you've already defeated one of the other mechs and gotten the Steampunker, build a long asphalt runway, then run and gun shooting behind you with a good ranged weapon, flying up when needed to dodge.
So you can fight the wall of flesh more than once? I’m in the process of preparing the space and runway. I’m on classic, so I guess i don’t need more than half of the map’s length
Yup! Just need plenty of voodoo dolls, and need to make sure you have a guide before you toss the dolls into the lava. Now that we have shimmer you don't need to do it nearly as many times just to get the different emblems, but you likely want to do it at least a couple of times.
My friends told me I need to kill the bee first in order to get the bee gun which I should use against WoF as it was helpful, idk I'm currently hoping I don't die, also getting the hellstone armour helps a lot
If you're on Classic difficulty the bee gun works fine, but on Expert of Master Mode it doesn't do so well. Really though you can use all sorts of weapons against the boss - especially on Classic difficulty.
@@salendrak for real but to be honest, starfury is the mele weapon with most range compared to the rest wich makes it best for any pre-hardmode bosses if used proper. Indeed theres a ton more options for mele sence the new mele weapons sprite in 1.4.4 but before that, starfury used to be the best option, probaly.
@@salendrak and also thanks for the guide, just did my ranger run, got down WOF without drinking a health potion, as mentioned range class has best effect at this point.
Possibly before the end of July, and if not, definitely sometime in August. Next episode will be a guide for early hardmode, and will cover hardmode ore tiers and progression, early hardmode gear, etc.
That's only for murdering the Clothier NPC for spawning Skeletron. For that one you just have to equip it, and then you can attack the Clothier. Lava not required!
Speed and mobility are your best defense for this fight! Beyond that, sure, defense will help, but I think health regen is also really helpful. But mostly speed to keep your distance, which will make dodging lasers easier too.
@@darragh4393 I generally go with Molten for Wall of Flesh, but it depends on what class you're going for. Shadow Armor (whether ancient or regular it's the same) has nice crit and movement perks, so should be fine, but is a bit weaker on defense if I remember right.
Thanks because I got terraria like 3 months ago then my friend got it a week ago and he somehow has some more progress than me and he is thinking of killing the wall of flesh soon if not has already succeeded so I need to try to catch up and I’ll try to kill the wall of flesh soon
I’ve been trying to beat the wall of flesh several times, but everytime i try to use the phoenix blaster it just doesnt do enought damage, what would you think the best bullet is?
Probably meteor shot so you have piercing. Otherwise many of your bullets just won't hit the wall if there are any hungry in the way. What difficulty though?
you said that summoner is the hardest class to beat the wall of flesh with on master mode, so i took that as a challenge and decided to beat it using pure summoner (im probably gonna need a therapy session after this)
I fought the wall of flesh with as good of gear as I could get in prehard mode and I had built a runway out of ice the entire length of the underworld, I only needed a quarter of that to beat the boss Oh well, the way of the newbie I guess
When it comes to the lunatic cultist, pillars and moon lord will you cover all go them in one video? If your playing the game you do all of them instantaneously so it's a bit odd not to
Probably not, as that would likely end up being a REALLY long video. I might possibly do the cultists and the pillars in a single video, but the Moon Lord definitely deserves his own episode!
Just wait for your guide to respawn, then you can murder him again with another voodoo doll. Would be crazy if failure to kill a boss required making a whole new world!!
I keep burning to death when fighting this thing. Is there anyway to stop this? Also I built a bridge so I don’t accidentally fall in lava and I destroyed the houses that burn you when you go in them.
What difficulty are you on? The wall itself shouldn't be catching you on fire, so unless you're on expert or higher and getting lava slimes along the way (they drop lava when they die) I'm really not sure why you would be burning to death!
eughhhh my problems in wof are arenas and shooting the mouth instead of the eyes and im too lazy to drink a water-walking potion and build a whole straight line (the mobs are a pain to build with)
Almost beat the wall of flesh by accident, for context i was making a helllevator and somehow when I got to hell spawned the wall of flesh(Explosive propb kill a demon holding the guide voodoo doll. , Luckly i had already been prepping a walkway and proceeded to accidently almost kill it, but a flesh worm killed me, then when i came back to try and kill it on purpose i killed it first try. Note: For potion buffs i only had gills, and the obsidian skin.

Keep it up!!
lol - yeah, sometimes my voice plays tricks on me 😆
I’ve been waiting to fight the WOF until you posted this vid lol
Hope you weren't waiting too long!! 😆
Thanks man I haven't played in 2 years got on and all my worlds and characters where gone, my prism I miss it 😢 straight beaming bosses
What happened to them?!
sad
Once you spawn a new OOA ONLY THEN can you open the chest without losing the mana collected...... use this method for gaining points to spawn sentries (I recommend the Ballista sentry 1st)
-- I use 30 mana each spawn (it costs 5 mana for every Sentry spawn). 3 sentries on each side....1 on ground.... 2 in air.
-- I have some blocks in the air to place Ballistas on each side so they can handle flying mobs....have all sentry spots you want near middle so you don't have to move a lot.
Yeah, I almost always run with a mixed loadout of some sort. But then, I also like variety sooo....
These guides actually work
Sweet!
Man when im playing terraria i always pick one of these 2 channels for guides
1. Salendrak (you)
2. Zuzucorn
Ur guide is really useful i used ur guide for classic and currently im in expert late pre hard mode
Awesome - glad I could help!
I’ve been playing at least 10 years maybe more, this game continues to have new things to learn about. Anybody care to explain the “V”? I’ve actually never heard of it before and I’m interested lol
Check out my preparing for hardmode video!
Alright I’ve prepared for nearly everything and I’ve been excited to tackle this monster of a boss so I can finely progress further this video is really helpful
Because I play on Xbox I don’t have to worry about the hardmode V but that means that it will be random on where my hollow and corruption spawn so I’ve purposely not built a underground farm because I want to wait build it specifically in the hollow for souls of light and rod of discord and also the spawns for queen slime
Wait - does the V spawn differently on XBox compared to PC / Mobile?
@@salendrak the wiki never mentions the hardmode V for console editions
What is the mystic robe? I can’t figure out how to get it.
Sold by the travelling merchant. Sorry if I forgot to mention that!
Wouldn't the jungle armor be the best Mage armor at this stage anyway?
at 0:09 it'a so funny how existed he sounded when he said the wall of flesh
LOL
funny enough i tried the paintball gun against our good friend the wall of flesh and it worked surprisingly well (In combination with beenades after those ran out)
I bet it made the wall all nice and pretty too! 😆
you legend, i love you so much.
Thanks!!
i have beaten WoF like a billion times on master mode, beenades and big platform
Nice! I totally forgot to include those in the video. Whoops!
@@salendrak i mean, killing the bee pre-hardmode is its own issue on master mode anyway.
Hey i have a question ¿Is it possible to get the terraspark boots in prehardmode?
Yup!!
This guy deserves more subs
Gimme gimme gimme! 😆
I beat it on expert mode (first time) but I did glowing mushroom platforms and I used 1600 of them. Also I chose a melee class (bad idea) with every buff you can get in pre hard mode… ended up dying at the same exact time as the wall of flesh and it counted
If it counts, it counts!!
Thank you this helped so much
Glad it helped!
Ah yes thanks
Also remember me when i struggled with the eye of cthulhu? Now i am at wall of flesh!
Nice!!
@@salendrak btw I DIED WHEN HE WAS AT 200 HP
@@Deniz.841 Doh!! Though I'm pretty sure I've died with bosses at an even smaller sliver of health than that. Feels bad man, feel bad! 😆
@@salendrak You know. Using a sunfury at WOF’s eyes are pretty good!
i love those moments when wof has 2k health and death sickle just kill me with 4 hits
It happens!!
you can use starfury and mounts to beat the wall of flesh, you need to aim at the eyes and while your attacking you run.
Very true! Though I'm personally not a big fan of the Starfury. Rate of fire is too slow for my preferences.
Same. I'm planning on using it though, in case he almost destroys me
Nice video!!
Thanks!!
i saw my friend making the long platform using SAND and dunerider boots. He says that sand with dunerider boots are basically asphalt
Oooooh that's a great idea! Easy way to get the zoom zooms!!
I made a stone and ice bridge that covers 3/4 of the underworld. It took some time.
Good thing the ice doesn't melt LOL
Nice work!!
@@salendrak Thanks bro! Waiting for the Mechanical bosses guide! Not Skeletron Prime though, he's the easiest lol
Does the ballista staff still shoot Immediately after you use it?
Not anymore, sadly. They changed that in the 1.4.4 update.
Me, post-Moon Lord, also being here:
“Interesting”.
It's been known to happen!
Is mini shark good for master mode wall of flesh? With like tungsten bullets or something
@@salendrak yeah i do not expect beenades to be very good in expert and master mode
@@salendrak ok
Its probably not going to take as long because we have more repetition from early pre-hardmode with gathering ores and also mabey also a guide to events such as the old one's army would be helpful!
i'll hang around ti'll I can get some solid advice on the mechanical eye, I know the daedalus bow is apparently the easy way out but it feels like nothing else works
Really high mobility helps a ton for the twins. If you've already defeated one of the other mechs and gotten the Steampunker, build a long asphalt runway, then run and gun shooting behind you with a good ranged weapon, flying up when needed to dodge.
Me who has beaten it at least 5 times in all difficulties:
“Hmm interesting….”
(I like guides like this😊😊)
Works for me!!
Thank you for this seariese it helps so much
Awesome - thanks for letting me know! 😊
i managed to fluke this boss on my first expert playthrough, but im on my second and its starting to catch on.
Nice!
I can’t believe I sold my cascade before watching this
Spend enough time in the underworld and/or get lucky and you'll get another one!
Should i put a stone road in underworld in both ends and should i put minecart tracks?
I prefer stone, but there's plenty of other options! Some people use ice and then ice skates for added speed, other use tracks. All work well!
Might melee be a good option on expert mode now that they buffed the night edge sword? Or is it still a bad option
It's still pretty rough, and the upgraded Night's Edge still puts you too close for comfort to the boss, especially as it gets low on health.
Nights blade until just past half and then delete the rest of his health with the star cannon
Save on stars that way for sure!!
Pepole who just uses starfury for mele runs on all pre hardmode bosses:
*im built different*
I've never really cared for Starfury. There are sooooo many other options I just enjoy using more!
Yeah, something was telling me that I was struggling because I was trying to fight wof as summoner
What difficulty? Summoner works just fine on Classic, but higher difficulties is a LOT harder!
@@salendrak master mode XD I feel like my best bet is to just use the hellwing bow temporarily
When will the next one be posted these are very helpful and I just beat the wall of flesh
Possibly before the end of July, and if not, definitely sometime in August. Next episode will be a guide for early hardmode, and will cover hardmode ore tiers and progression, early hardmode gear, etc.
@@salendrak that’s good really loving the content your for the worthy series got me to buy terraria
If I use wood insted of stone floor what will happen?
Nothing! Which is why I like to use stone, as it will get converted so I can quickly find the base of the V
I was just hanging in the underworld just waiting for a voodoo demon lol
I've sometimes had to wait quite a while!
What about any other voodoo dolls? I got a clothier doll from one of those demons and I’ve not tested it yet
That's only for murdering the Clothier NPC for spawning Skeletron. For that one you just have to equip it, and then you can attack the Clothier. Lava not required!
What defence do you need
Speed and mobility are your best defense for this fight! Beyond that, sure, defense will help, but I think health regen is also really helpful. But mostly speed to keep your distance, which will make dodging lasers easier too.
Is Ancient shadow armour any good?
@@darragh4393 I generally go with Molten for Wall of Flesh, but it depends on what class you're going for. Shadow Armor (whether ancient or regular it's the same) has nice crit and movement perks, so should be fine, but is a bit weaker on defense if I remember right.
I beat it(:
Thanks because I got terraria like 3 months ago then my friend got it a week ago and he somehow has some more progress than me and he is thinking of killing the wall of flesh soon if not has already succeeded so I need to try to catch up and I’ll try to kill the wall of flesh soon
Sounds like a good plan to me!!
is bee bow (Bees knees or idk i forgot ) and space gun good for Wall of flesh?
On classic difficulty they'll work just fine, but on expert of Master Mode they won't work as well as other options.
@@salendrak for now im still in classic, its my first time playing Terraria
you said that summoner is the hardest class to beat the wall of flesh with on master mode, so i took that as a challenge and decided to beat it using pure summoner (im probably gonna need a therapy session after this)
How did it go?!
@@salendrakmy terraria files got lost because my device got hacked, but I did good in the fight!
I fought the wall of flesh with as good of gear as I could get in prehard mode and I had built a runway out of ice the entire length of the underworld, I only needed a quarter of that to beat the boss
Oh well, the way of the newbie I guess
Better to be overprepared than under prepared!
@@salendrak your not wrong, It was kind of relaxing building it
I was slain by a deerclops when I was fighting the wall of flesh
Hax I say - HAX!!
I usually cheese wall of flesh for example if i do class playthrough it is the exception where i just blast it with star Cannon to not deal with that
Especially on higher difficulties!
Hey if i failed killed the wall of flesh, i have to make new world and spawn the boss again? Because i cant spawn the boss again in my main world
Just wait for your guide to respawn, then you can murder him again with another voodoo doll. Would be crazy if failure to kill a boss required making a whole new world!!
I remember on Xbox 360 I tried everything I could but I could never beat him until 2 years after
I honestly can't imagine playing this game on console. Controls would be so alien to me!
I keep burning to death when fighting this thing. Is there anyway to stop this? Also I built a bridge so I don’t accidentally fall in lava and I destroyed the houses that burn you when you go in them.
What difficulty are you on? The wall itself shouldn't be catching you on fire, so unless you're on expert or higher and getting lava slimes along the way (they drop lava when they die) I'm really not sure why you would be burning to death!
eughhhh my problems in wof are arenas and shooting the mouth instead of the eyes
and im too lazy to drink a water-walking potion and build a whole straight line (the mobs are a pain to build with)
Lack of a runway will definitely make the fight more challenging!!
I subscribed!
Awesome - thanks!!
That's pretty funny - and what are the chances?! Good job downing it on the first intentional fight!
