@Brittany Bennett not quite. It is because the car seat belts do not fit properly against a child. They may feel nice and snug, but that is only because the fluffy part of the coat is taking up so much room. Kids have slipped right out of car seats in several crashes due to this.

That Macy’s commercial was my frikin’ childhood. It was the late 70’s and early 80’s and Oh it was miserable time for kids clothes. Only difference was the shoes weren’t Macy’s. The shoes were Thom McAn from the actual Thom McAn retail store. And they ALWAYS rubbed my ankles raw because I had such a narrow foot 🤣 spent many a Holliday with my heel bleeding into my white tights 😂
