I was wondering if you guys could perhaps play the pianos without it being turned on so you can hear how loud the keys are, my p45 is very loud and i can hear the keys when i play the piano and it's super annoying i was wondering if these would be the same.
@@antoniolausinrabelo6225 realistically, the sounds you hear are only as good as your speakers and the microphone used to record them. To know how good a piano actually sounds, you'd need to hear it in person.
I assume these are all recorded from the direct line-outs. This is the problem with most demo videos, because when you actually play these pianos in person, the sound through the internal speakers is vastly different! I just bought the CLP735, sounds pretty good in headphones, but I am bitterly disappointed with the sound through the speakers! All woolly, unnatural, obviously electronic and to my ears nothing like a grand piano! Shame, I am going to try a different model. By the way I also use professional stage pianos so I know a good piano sound.
I had the same impression. It sounded very digital, even though its samples. Thr 745 just brought out the hiss closer to my ears. Not unplayable, but I expected more for 3k+
I hv tried 745 n it sounded good but I felt Kwai was better . Have not tried 735, which suits my pocket but on reading about its poor sound quality I hv to rethink
I found the Kawai a bit disappointing and was surprised by the HP-702. CLP 745 has much nicer sound than the 735 and I am inclined to go with the Roland but haven't stopped looking.
I have gone with yamaha clp735 among these three choices. Although anyone is fine and equally good. In my country India kawai and roland do sell very expensive although these are almost similarly priced in USD in many countries. Yamaha has been very satisfying for me. For sounds just invest $ 200 more and get garritan cfx on laptop. It will beat any digital piano in the world.
May I ask you how would a vst be benefitial other than if you want to use your digital piano as a midi controller while recording?? For practicing sessions or just relaxing playing, you are still hearing the piano's built in sounds! Or is there something I don't know?
@@Thairpiano its the high quality sounding, a vast variety of sounds to chose from and using daw like logic, cubase to record your performances for which midi helps.
Hey Parag, aren’t the keys heavy on CLP 735 as compared to Kawai cn29 ? Practising for hours makes it difficult if the keys are heavy. Isn’t it? Also how is ydp165 in comparison to CLP 735. I didn’t find these comparisons online, if you or anyone reading this could help answer. Thanks!

Great video!! Could you describe the different feeling of pressing the keys? I am wondering between those three and want to buy one that feels similar with a real piano and not to light but there are not available to try in my country.🤔
I've herd people say that kawai has a better action in their keys, I can't guarantee that as I too didn't have the option to try the pianos... but what I can see is that the sheet stand on thr kawai is larger in terms of hight than the others (compare it from others from the specs sheet given on each pianos website) which if it really is, is a great help. I have the roland hp704 and it's sheet stands hight isn't too high so loose sheets curve and fall off, which is annoying, so I have to keep a book or smthing like that behing the sheets
@@faneeshmunjal3308 I had a Rolands 5000 s which was about 30 years old and the weighting of the keys was like a real piano. Even though it was old and older technology it has a beautiful acoutic piano sound to it..
Thank you very much for the video. I would like to ask you, if for you, the Kawai CN 39 is a good purchase, and what virtues it has compared to the other two digital pianos. I think it has a warmer, mellower sound. I would appreciate it very much, if you are so kind to answer me. Thanks.
I have a Roland fp90x and when I heard a real Yamaha piano I was taken by its bright and rounded sound. I can’t have a real piano as we are living on a boat and need to restrict the weight. Hence an electronic piano it is. But in a comparison with these three I notice that the soundmachine of Roland has so much more Harmony and a much deeper resonance than both others. The real kawai grand pianos have something light but solid yet the recording sounds a bit hindered by its casing. Let’s be honest these are all three good instruments and it’s totally a personal preference. For me replacement will be a Roland that is unless there’s a level up in Yamaha. Still searching.
Hi Jazzevolution. They all have fairly light weighted actions, however, personally I would say that the CN-39 and HP-702 has lighter keys than the CLP-735. BR, Lucas

@@vanyablake True. I can use my digital piano with the many piano VSTs I have, but I never do it.
