I love hearing the emotion in your voice! Seeing that America will only receive 85, I'm sad that I'll probably never see one in the flesh. Stuh-ning! ✌️
Love this video man. Speciellt som svensk ☺ I also grew up just as you on these cars and also has a Prao at Audi in the 90's. Today I own a B5 RS4, B7 RS4, C7.5 RS6 and your video made me smile ☺ Ha det gott!
White wheels / plain non painted are better than gloss black wheels many Manufacturers are doing. Audi makes wagons look good. Shame not many wagon style cars in America anymore. I still haven’t seen one rs6 avant in person yet
Most car buyers here in America are dumb. People do not seem to understand that a large AWD station wagon has way better practicality for family use than a massive SUV or pickup truck. I have no idea when and where the obsession with driving the absolute tallest vehicle on the road started...
It’s absolutely gorgeous. Wagons are so underrated. Also those wheels are crazy, so happy they’re not basic gloss black. I’m so beyond over seeing dark colored wheels 🙄Audi is killing it with their cars
Love how audi keeps it simple. Basic shapes and lines that just go together so well. It all makes sense, which too often can't be said about other cars.
What strucks me the most is that Audi didn't bother to increase the power output compared to the RS6 Performance. They announced a literal hammer, a beast and whatever marketing put to words. Yes it is lighter, yet they charge unfathomable amounts of money for something that was expected by buyers and the car community to be more radical, last but not least due to the subtle yet powerful announcements by the Audi people. No, I cannot afford this car. Yet, I am part of an enthusiast community. Was supposed to be the Swan Song of the current gen. A6. So, why? Their RS6 GTO concept (developed by Audi trainees) was spot on.
Last Audi I owned was a Daytona Grey B7 RS4 before moving on to my E92 M3C and then to my current G82 M4C. I mentioned this because I felt Audi wandered away from trying to create the complete performance saloon, estate or coupe. With the recent RS6 avant I’ve been interested in getting one and this GT I would be really interested in getting one, though that may be a difficult proposition with only 80 some coming to the States.
Charging $100k over the RS6-P, with no power increase, worse looking wheels, only in white (in the US), some carbon fiber body panels, and stickers. Is insane. The US doesn’t even get the bucket seats. Dumb. Pointless. A miss for anyone who actually wanted to upgrade as an enthusiast and not just be a collector. A loss of 33 pounds in not a substantial weight loss…
every now and then, Audi comes up with absolute masterpieces, such as the RS2, the S4 and RS4 (B5), the 1st gen A8/S8, the A1 Quattro and, now, the RS6 GT I remember once being in a grey S4 (B5)... what a stunning, subtle, fun car! and yes, i skipped the typical Audi Quattro/GT/Coupe because i think they're quite obvious (and i don't consider them as beautiful as the others that i mentioned. pls stop trying to kill me)
Can just get a regular RS6 and get ABT kit and tune and run circles around this. This really didn’t need to exist and the dealer markup for a damn station wagon already over $200k makes this a asinine purchase. But Audi got fools hook, line and sinker by making it limited numbers. 🤦🏿♂️🤣
@@bapr3887 You are absolutely right. As a matter of fact, I got a set of 18 inch (8j) Avus wheels yesterday. I didn't know they came in various sizes. Sorry.
BMW went away from its M heritage and started making fugly "green" cars with tick tok vid quality ads. Glad to see Audi has not let the car enthusiast down. Refreshing, and innovative, while still keeping the original idea alive. Well done Audi!
My family has owned a lot of audi's, starting with an Audi 80 in the early 1980's to an audi 100, and later the RS6, a Q7, and now the e-tron GT. And I never really liked the look of the cars or the interior. I own a BMW Z4 myself (the previous model, E89) and that is an extremely sexy car from every angle, and it is very luxurious on the inside as well. But honestly, I have come to appreaciate the modern audi's more as well, especially the e-tron is very nice, although I am still very reluctant to embrace electric cars completely. They are such a mistake, IMHO.
But it needs to be manual...like what's the fun in driving when a computer shits for you .... No matter how advanced if a trans it is ..nothing beats a fully synchronized manual
I'm a BMW fan of yore, but I appreciate Audi latest designs (externals mostly) in contrary to what BMWs push out these days (IMHO totally sux if you ask me).
It's not bad looking but apart from the obvious fact that it's an Avant and not a sedan, they made the bumper and the wheels specifically for this car and didn't bother to make it look more like the IMSA GTO, it feels like they just slapped a somewhat inspired decal on it and said the whole car is inspired by the IMSA GTO to bring it's value up...
cIf I would have to give points from 0 to 10 to different things in new Audis , not specifically this gorgeous GT, Then I would have given 8s. 9s, and 10s to everything except the diffuser design that would be rated at 2 or 3...The rear diffuser seems to have been designed by a child aka: /¯o\______(ツ)______/o¯\
It sad how I was a big fan of your channel but now I'm disappointed by how much you are just impartial of Audi and you did not see any mistake in that audi, you just lost a fan.
A normal RS6 Avant is already a super car this version is beautiful ,stunning !
I'd take this over any SUV any day of the week !
A Transformer in disguise. Perfect Audi execution in all sensibilities. A vehicle in the presence of perpetual motion.
Now all they have to do is ditch the gloss-black “luxury” jokes of interiors they have.
@@faheemabbas3965interiors are far from a joke
One of the last brands that can still pull it off with a great elegant and sporty design that respects it's brand identity
I wanna see the RS7 version sooo bad now😢😢

White wheels get dirty easily, unless you wash your tyre every 2nd or 3rd day

This is mental
Audi has top notch on this
I so much love everything about this car
What a design
Amazing car. Wish they used the dish wheels from the classic. Great video

Love how you explained it in this video. Emotional design is what we want!
Amazing little history from Sweden to Italy to America? Awesome.
ehi! love your content, could you talk about the new 2024 ice Mini Cooper and the differences in design between it and the J01

SUV without the body roll. This is what people should buy
You can tell that the RS6 GTs painted white with red and grey decals will be the most sought-after.
okay maybe I'm almost ready to come back into the audi fold....
If only I had the money, I’d definitely buy the car, no questions asked
Would be interesting if you compare this to GTO concept as well.
Love the design but they should’ve upped the power some more to make it more special.. just like the bmw m cs models
AND THE NEW AUDI QUATTRO ?...................it is a masterpiece.

I’d love to see this with enamel grey with matching wheels and no decals. Just bring it back to a bit more of a sleeper car.
