1 more doubt , i opened mine and i have 1x4gb not 2x2 as i tough , so i will go saving money and just adding one 8gb card to that , will the laptop be able to regonize 12gb ram? ( im asking because everything you see is 4 , 8 , 16 and 32.. )
And on my motherboard says DDR3 only , can i buy DDR3L or its something different ? By what i see it has same speed ( 1.600 )
yes, 12gb of ram will be recognized.
@Youskay nope , i have 12 on it right now and its recognised , it says 11,7gb of ram usable
2021 and some people still CAN NOT recognised that 1MB is NOT 1000kB but 1024kB, that same with 1GB is NOT 1000MB BUT 1024MB, that means 12GB is 11700MB thats why your computer read it 11,7GB Computer math are NOT same with General math due to binary count

do you happen to have the same model exactly? If you're not sure, run cmd as admin use “wmic memphysical get maxcapacity” convert kb to gb to see your max ram capacity

cpu yes, gpu from what I can tell, I doubt it from looking at it. I could be wrong though, I've never really upgraded laptop gpus before. since I mostly experiment with entry level laptops.

The laptop in the video has two slots only. Based on the cpu if it can handle 16gb ram. “Officially” it supposedly can handle only 8gb ram but I have been proven wrong before
I have the np300e5c-A07 us model ; and I can confirm it recognizes 12 gb ; i installed an 8 and a 4 PNY ddr3 1300 just today ; not only does the laptop hum, but my hunch is if i had a mirroring additional 8gb ; it would recognize 16 gb .... my model has only 2 slots for memory.

Open cmd as admin then type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity. This will show max ram in kilobytes. Convert it to gb

I think both since I have DDR3 1x2Gb and a DDR3L 1x4Gb and both works well

I have the samsung NP300E4A the screen is glitching then it goes into just black screen. What is the problem of my laptop? I need my laptop for online classes. Hope u can help me even though my comment is not connected to your video. Thanks!
You will have to troubleshoot. not sure. Monitor (screen) might be going out. They have a lifespan and they degrade over time. You try connecting it to an external monitor? If you duplicate the displays, and the screen goes out but not on the external, then the monitor is going out. Unfortunately like all electronics they degrade over time. They have a certain lifespan.
@@whattmeter i already tried to duplicate the display but when the screen starts to glitch the external display will disconnect even though it's still connected. But still thank you. I'll be subscribing to your channel 😊

@bdtrp1668 was able to hold 12 gigs of ram (4ab +8gb Stick) I think this can hold up to 16gb

@@thiago4022 yes just using a regular 4gb and 8gb stick (2400 mhz) it's still alive today. With the upgrade (together with the ssd replacement) I can do minimal editing using 2020 photoshop. Although I very seldom use the laptop now.

Yes, i installed ssd on mine. Keep in mind the connection is Sata II so you are limited to Sata 2 speeds
