Hi, I enjoyed your reaction. It was so weird seeing RM on some random UK street. 😂Up until a couple of years ago I had not really listened to any rap music. It just didn't appeal, but I now really like the BTS rappers. To me, this whole album feels interesting and experimental. I'm glad to hear RM flexing his composing muscles. I'm looking forward to seeing your next reaction.
I think a lot of us interpret "walk like a duck" from the saying, 'if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it is a duck' and since this is a clap back to haters and coattail riders (hence get yo ass out the trunk - stop trying to get a free ride), and those who try to use RM/BTS (like even their government) - I take it also as 'if it looks like shit and smells like shit...'
"If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's a duck!" 😂 as far as I know it's a very British saying 😜 You should totally check out the whole album. It's worth a Grammy, and critics are raving about it. It's so good, it firmly stays on my playlist since its release 💜💜💜
@@kara-karina8530 I know the saying! I’m surprised I didn’t make the connection - told you I’m not very bright! 🖤 I will definitely check out more of the album ☺️
Totally agree. I just want to add the meaning 'like ducks in a row' into the mix here, meaning 'doing the same as the rest just because it's how everyone else is behaving/talking'. 💜
4:48 Hearing you say you felt the human connection, I am happy he was successful in conveying his message. That's what Namjoon (RM) meant to do here as far as I understand. If you listen to and watch the video of his song, "Wildflower", he is more direct in his lyrics there about the feeling/idea of flying high in the skies like fireworks (bright and flashy but quick to die out) and how, in contrast to that, he desires to remain grounded amidst the enduring purple wildflowers or flowerworks (purple being colour of BTS and ARMY and perhaps something more) and thrive without the constant spotlight on them/him! Its a beautiful song. Also RPWP is my fav album among all solo albums, including Indigo and Mono (Mono will always be closest to my heart though because it is therapy to me as it is to many other ARMYs). I hope you check them out when you can! All his albums are beautiful. Thanks for the reaction! I hope I made sense!💜
I would highly HIGHLY, let me say once more, highly recommend doing an album review of Right Place Wrong Person. It's absolutely a 'listen from top to bottom' album and definitely an album of the year contender (per Rolling Stone, NME, etc). As for BTS I know you did Ugh/Outro Tear so you've gotten a taste of the rapline, but they also have the Cypher's 1-4. There's also vocal line tracks like Truth Untold and House of Cards. Suga/Agust D's trilogy Daechwita - Haegeum - Amygdala. V released a song this year called Fri(end)s, Jimin just released Who which has been charting on the Hot 100.
Thank you for the suggestions! It’s definitely something I am going to look into, I’m just thinking of the best way to present it as it will be a long video 🖤
@@MCDofWCR I'll trust you will figure it out. When it comes to lyric vids beware as many of them simply use google translate. A trusted channel is Dial 6137 - though they don't have colour coded when you're doing group reactions. There's also Hobified or worst comes to worse Lemoring is okay (some may disagree with me). I would avoid the channels that start with J, like JVJ and Jaegu...something. For live performances with lyrics there's also Enjoy BTS More.
Not sure why he was there but his album has a track with Little Sims maybe for that. It's a pretty good tune. Also you should listen to the album in order. It's chalk full of audio plot twists
I think you would like Nuts from the same album. It's a live recording MV also done in a studio in or near London, as I believe he was in town to record with Little Simz. We loved joking on the social medias about how RM's Nuts and Groin were on 🔥 and running the charts. The entire album slaps and is on every publication's best of 2024 lists.
Yes he filmed it here in London about the same time his band mate V was here for his MV Fri(end)s filmed that MV at the Ace Cafe. That's London so that's V and RM who both filmed MV's in London.

😂Yep! Relatable, old school Hiphop in your neighbourhood! You’ll also like NUTS (MV). Before enlisting for mandatory service, RM was fed up being used as an idol, with role model expectations imposed on him by hypocritical politicians and society. Look at the beginning lyrics “I’m no diplomat”. He insists he will represent only causes that he chooses! I promise RPWP is a MUSICIAN’s album. The instrumentation and arrangement (including transitions) will have you appreciating his composer chops, pushing the boundaries while being authentically Hiphop. He will not be pigeonholed into any genre!
@@WiseOwl_so_1d_like_to_think awesome, I’ll definitely check it out! He's talking to those who try to associate themselves with BTS in order ride on their coat tails mostly done by their Kpop Companies. Walk like duck eg we'd say 'If it waddles like a duck, quacks like a duck then it's fecking Duck.' He's calling out people again saying I know what you are by the way you act.
