That's who they are! They started with nothing, they were humble. They are famous idols now who have more money than I would if I worked 3-4 life times and yet they are still humble. Yes, Jimin recently revealed that he went back to basics on singing because of the strain his style put on his voice/vocal chords. He has re-trained so that he'll be able to sing without putting so much pressure on his throat/vocal chords. He did this before his enlistment. During his last album he said he was about midway through learning to change his style.
Hi, Just an Fyi: Jimin was the last to join Bts. Since the company was almost bankrupt Jimin did not get voice lessons. Only Seokjin,Taehyung and Jungkook did. Jimin would ask to sit in the room and he would practice what he heard at their lesson and would practice at night. He actually went back to the basics last June (2023) and took voice lessons so he would have longevity with his vocals. What Bts went through their whole career is not only mindblowing, courageous and didn't break them(constant criticism, hate and death threats from even citizens of their own country) which they somehow push threw. On the flip note, Miraculously that in 2014 Bang Pd noticed Bts at K-Con (USA) and the crowd was different with them, in a great way, so they took a chance on North America and sold out every "Large Stadium". They even had to add dates to accommodate their fans. (Which was unheard of back then in Kpop) Truly Magical and I Couldn't Be Happier For Them Then, Evenen Happier For Them Now. They're The Largest Group Globally! Oh! Yes! They Have Black Credit Cards (unlimited credit limit, I guess if your a millionaire) Bts Are Know As The Broke Millionaires! @@Afi.2000yeah it's actually true that he didn't really get vocal lessons, he used to learn just by watching the others have their lessons....but recently he started getting lessons to sing in a more healthy way since he used to prioritize stylistic singing over more healthy one, but he said he's trying to balance the two so that he doesn't also lose his unique tone...he is a hard-worker so he will do well either way like he has always been doing...we just want them all to come back safely now lol
I don't think Jimin's voice has ever been bad...quite the opposite in my opinion. But yeah his technique might be harder on his vocal cords. He is working on that front for the longevity now. Thank you for your reaction
He means he hurts his throat easily, Jimin did talk about that since he prioritized stylistic singing which does take a toll on his voice...his throat hurt during that clip, that's why he mentioned it here in the video....Jimin did start to get vocal lessons last year to sing more healthy and have more longevity...you can listen to what he said in his minimoni interview with RM

Being an idol is a collection of personality, speech, voice, performance, and influencing the next generation. Maybe it is because of all his qualities that he is called a national treasure or national pride! I think I saw an interview with a Korean national soccer player who called Taehyung a national treasure because of his services in his hometown! By the way, this nickname and the word Buraha belong to Kim Taehyung from BTS!

You are biased and that is okay. Not okay is the sole consumption of the solos that went of the deep end and took a small finger to mean taking the whole human. Do yourself the favor and explore the other members and maybe even other Idols to get some context even if you still think Taehyung is the best since sliced bread. The others have won plenty of polls, too. It's only proving that there were enough people to care to win that one. There are vids with entire lists of Idols who credited certain people made by the solos of that Idol. It's fun to look at but the context is that those exist for other Idols/BTS members as well. The most obsessed seem to be the maknae solos unfortunately.
